The FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives during the 2000s is a list, maintained for a sixth decade, of the Ten Most Wanted Fugitives of the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation. At any given time, the FBI is actively searching for 12,000 fugitives. During the 2000s, 36 new fugitives were added to the list. By the close of the decade a total of 494 fugitives had been listed on the Top Ten list, of whom 463 have been captured or located.

Eduardo "Richolm" Ravelo is a Mexican American gangster who was a leader of the Barrio Azteca gang. He is also a former fugitive wanted on several charges related to drugs and organized crime. On October 20, 2009, he was named by the FBI as the 493rd fugitive to be placed on the Ten Most Wanted list. He was captured in Mexico on June 26, 2018.
Edward Wayne Edwards was an American serial killer and former fugitive. Edwards escaped from jail in Akron, Ohio, in 1955 and fled across the country, holding up gas stations. By 1961, he was on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list.
Barrio Azteca, or Los Aztecas, is a Mexican-American street and prison gang originally based in El Paso, Texas, USA and Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. The gang was formed in the Coffield Unit, located near Tennessee Colony, Texas by Jose "Raulio" Rivera, a prisoner from El Paso, in the early 1980s. It expanded into a transnational criminal organization that traded mainly across the US-Mexico border. Currently one of the most violent gangs in the United States, they are said to have over 3,000 members across the country in locations such as New Mexico, Texas, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania as well as at least 5,000 members in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.

The Hunt with John Walsh is an American investigation/documentary series that debuted on CNN on July 13, 2014. The series is hosted by John Walsh. The second season premiered on July 12, 2015, and the third season premiered on June 19, 2016. The fourth season premiered on CNN's sister station, HLN, on July 23, 2017. A successor to the show, In Pursuit with John Walsh was announced in early 2018. It premiered in January 2019 on Investigation Discovery.
Yaser Abdel Said is an Egyptian-American convicted murderer. For 12 years, Said evaded arrest for the January 1, 2008, fatal shootings of his two daughters, Amina (18) and Sarah (17). Their bodies were found in his abandoned taxi cab in Irving, Texas, on the property of the Omni Mandalay Hotel.
Michael Alfonso is an American former fugitive who was convicted of multiple felonies, including two counts of murder, in the state of Illinois. In January 2003, a year and half after the second 2001 murder, he was placed on the FBI's "Ten Most Wanted Fugitives" list, with a $50,000 reward for information leading to his arrest. After a year and half of being on the run, he was captured during a manhunt in Mexico and extradited back to the U.S.
Robert Francis Van Wisse is an American criminal who was added to the FBI Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list in December 2016, in relation to a sexual assault and murder in Austin, Texas in September 1983. In January 2017, he surrendered to U.S. officials. On March 28, 2017, Van Wisse pleaded guilty to murder and was sentenced to 30 years in prison.
Santiago "Pucho" Villalba Mederos is an American former fugitive who was added to the FBI Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list on September 25, 2017. He was wanted for two murders in Tacoma, Washington, in 2010. Mederos was the 515th fugitive to be placed on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list. The FBI offered a reward of up to $100,000 for information leading to his capture. He was captured in Tenancingo, Mexico, on June 5, 2020.
Alejandro Rosales Castillo is an American fugitive who was added to the FBI Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list on October 24, 2017. He is wanted for the August 2016 murder of Truc Quan "Sandy" Ly Le in Charlotte, North Carolina. Castillo was the 516th fugitive to be placed on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list. The FBI is offering a reward of up to $250,000 for information leading to his capture.
Lamont Stephenson is an American former fugitive who was added to the FBI Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list on October 11, 2018. He was wanted for the murder of his fiancée, Olga DeJesus, on October 17, 2014, in Newark, New Jersey. He also killed her dog in the attack. Stephenson was the 521st fugitive to be placed on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list. He was captured in Maryland on March 7, 2019, as authorities were investigating a suspicious vehicle. Police say that he was also wanted in a second homicide committed on March 6, 2019.

Jose Rodolfo Villarreal-Hernandez is a Mexican drug cartel boss and former fugitive who was added to the FBI Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list on October 13, 2020. He was wanted for orchestrating the murder of Juan Jesús Guerrero Chapa, which was carried out on May 22, 2013, in Southlake, Texas. He is also believed to be responsible for numerous murders in Mexico. Villarreal-Hernandez was the 524th fugitive to be placed on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list. The United States Department of State's Transnational Organized Crime Rewards Program offered a reward of up to $1 million for information leading directly to his arrest. He was captured on January 7, 2023.
Octaviano Juarez-Corro was a Mexican-American fugitive who was added to the FBI Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list on September 8, 2021. He was wanted for the murders of Raymundo Munoz-Silva and Julio Diaz-Guillen, who were shot and killed execution style at South Shore Park in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on May 29, 2006. Three other people were injured during the shooting. Authorities believed he was hiding in Mexico. Juarez-Corro was the 525th fugitive to be placed on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list. The FBI offered a reward of up to $100,000 for information leading to his capture. He was captured in Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico, on February 3, 2022.
Morley Vernon King was an American murderer who was the second person to be listed on the FBI Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list. King murdered his wife Helen in 1947 and was sought as a fugitive since that year. At their launches in 1949 and 1950, King was listed on the Most Wanted Fugitives list and Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list.
