The Texas Tech University Press (TTUP), founded in 1971, is the university press of the American Texas Tech University, located in Lubbock, Texas. [1] [2] The press is a member of the Association of University Presses. [3]

The 1945 Texas Longhorns football team was an American football team that represented the University of Texas as a member of the Southwest Conference (SWC) during the 1945 college football season. In their ninth year under head coach Dana X. Bible, the Longhorns compiled an overall record of 10–1, with a mark of 5–1 in conference play, and finished as SWC champion. Texas concluded their season with a victory over Missouri in the Cotton Bowl Classic.
The 1955 Texas Tech Red Raiders football team represented Texas Technological College—now known as Texas Tech University—as a member of the Border Conference during the 1955 college football season. Led by fifth-year head coach DeWitt Weaver, the Red Raiders compiled an overall record of 7–3–1 with a mark of3–0–1 in conference play, winning the Border Conference title for the third consecutive season. Texas Tech was invited to the Sun Bowl, where they lost to Wyoming. This was Texas Tech's final season in the Border Conference. The team competed as an independent from 1956 to 1959 before joining the Southwest Conference (SWC) in 1960.

The Utah Tech Trailblazers football team, formerly known as the Dixie State Trailblazers, represent Utah Tech University in the sport of American football. The Trailblazers compete as a member of the United Athletic Conference (UAC) at the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) level in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Originally a junior college program, the school joined the NCAA at the Division II level in 2006 and played in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference from 2008 through 2016 and the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference for the 2017, 2018, and 2019 seasons. In July 2020, they began the transition to NCAA Division I status by moving to the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) in all sports except football.
