The Texas Tech Red Raiders men's and women's cross country teams represent Texas Tech University, often referred to as Texas Tech. The teams compete as members of the Big 12 Conference in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). The women's cross country team is only one of three teams to win the Big 12 Conference title since the conference was formed in 1996.

The women's cross country team won its first conference championship in the 2008 Big 12 meet. Texas Tech went on to win the conference title in 2009 and 2010. [3]

Brian Giorgis is the current head coach of the Marist Red Foxes women's basketball program. Giorgis completed his nineteenth season at the helm as head coach in 2021. His 250th career win at Marist, which came in March 2012, coincided with his players notching the Red Foxes' 7th Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) crown, and their eighth conference crown since 2004.

The 2009–10 Minnesota Golden Gophers women's hockey team represented the University of Minnesota in the 2009–10 NCAA Division I women's hockey season. The Golden Gophers were coached by Brad Frost and played their home games at Ridder Arena. The University of Minnesota hosted the 2010 NCAA Division I Women's Ice hockey Tournament's championship game on March 21, 2010 at Ridder Arena in Minneapolis. It marked the third time that Minneapolis hosted the Frozen Four. The Golden Gophers are a member of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association and attempted to win their fourth NCAA Women's Ice Hockey Championship.

The Quinnipiac Bobcats women's ice hockey represented Quinnipiac University in the 2009–10 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey season. The Bobcats were the most improved team in the NCAA. At season's end, the squad had won 19 contests, a 16 win improvement compared to the 2008–09 season, when Quinnipiac won only 3 games. The Bobcats set a school record with conference wins (11), and hosted a postseason game for the first time in the program's history.

The 2009 Big East football season was an NCAA football season that was played from September 5, 2009, to January 2, 2010. The Big East Conference consists of 8 football members: Cincinnati, Connecticut, Louisville, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, South Florida, Syracuse, and West Virginia. Cincinnati won the Big East Championship for the second consecutive year and was invited to the Allstate Sugar Bowl where they lost to Florida 51–24. Overall, the Big East went 4–2 in Bowl Games.

The team was led by third-year head coach Mike Sherman and played their home games at Kyle Field in College Station, Texas. The team's defense was led by first-year coach Tim DeRuyter. They were members of the South Division of the Big 12 Conference.

This was the 41st season of basketball for USF and its 7th season as a member of the Big East Conference. The team was coached by Stan Heath in his fifth year at the school. USF played its home games at Bob Martinez Sports Center, Lakeland Center, and Tampa Bay Times Forum this season as their regular home venue, the USF Sun Dome, was under extensive renovations.

The 2014–15 LSU Lady Tigers basketball team will represent Louisiana State University during the 2014–15 NCAA Division I women's basketball season college basketball season. The Lady Tigers are led by fourth year head coach Nikki Fargas. They play their home games at Pete Maravich Assembly Center and are members of the Southeastern Conference. They finished the season 17–14, 10–6 in SEC play to finish in a three way tie for fourth place. They advanced to the semifinals of the SEC Women's Tournament where they lost to LSU. They received an at-large bid to the NCAA Women's Tournament where they lost to South Florida in the first round.

The 2016 LSU Tigers gymnastics team is to represent Louisiana State University in the sport of Artistic gymnastics during the 2016 NCAA Division I women's gymnastics season. The Tigers compete in the Southeastern Conference (SEC). They host their home meets at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center on the university's campus in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The Tigers program is led by D-D Breaux who has been the head coach of the program for 39 seasons.

The 2016–17 Iowa State Cyclones men's basketball team represented Iowa State University during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Cyclones were coached by Steve Prohm, who was in his second season. They played their home games at Hilton Coliseum in Ames, Iowa as members of the Big 12 Conference. They finished the season 24–11, 12–6 in Big 12 play to finish in a three-way tie for second place. In the Big 12 Tournament, they defeated Oklahoma State, TCU, and West Virginia to win the tournament championship. As a result, they received the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. As the No. 5 seed in the Midwest region, they defeated Nevada in the First Round before losing to Purdue in the Second Round.

The 2000–01 North Carolina Tar Heels men's basketball team represented the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill during the 2000–01 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Their head coach was Matt Doherty. The team captain for this season was Brendan Haywood. The team played its home games in the Dean Smith Center in Chapel Hill, North Carolina as a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference.

2019 LSU Tigers womens gymnastics team

The 2019 LSU Tigers women's gymnastics team will represent Louisiana State University in the 2019 NCAA Division I women's gymnastics season as members of the Southeastern Conference in their 44th season of collegiate competition. The Tigers' home meets will take place at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. They will be led by head coach D-D Breaux in her forty-first season at the helm of the program. The Tigers will look to build on a fourth place finish at the 2018 NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championship.
