Tham Simpson (born 8 April 1969 in Vietnam) [1] is a paralympic athlete from Canada competing mainly in category 1C events. She was born in Vietnam but adopted by Canadian parents in Toronto. [2]

Simpson competed in the 1984 Summer Paralympics in athletics aged just 15, winning five gold medals.

Eugene "Gene" Reimer was a Canadian wheelchair Paralympic athlete who won 10 Paralympic medals and 50 Canadian and Pan-American medals from 1968 to 1980. Having polio at an early age, he was a member of the wheelchair basketball team Vancouver Cable Cars alongside Terry Fox and Rick Hansen.
