Vivek, a talented dancer and singer, meets Kavitha during one of his performances and takes a liking to her. She is the sister of Dr Rajagopal. When Vivek's sister marries a police inspector and Vivek learns that they are searching for a house for rent, he manages to get the house opposite Rajagopal's in order to meet Kavitha. After several meetings their love blossoms.

Madhavan Raveendran, , fondly known as Raveendran Master, was a popular South Indian music composer and playback singer from Kerala. He composed songs for more than 150 films primarily for the Malayalam and Tamil film industries. He also composed a few albums, including Vasantha Geethangal, Ponnonatharangini and Rithugeethangal. Raveendran successfully composed melodies based on Hindustani Ragas also.

Mrugaya is a 1989 Malayalam drama film written by A. K. Lohithadas and directed by I. V. Sasi. The film stars Mammootty and Sunitha in the lead role, with Thilakan, Jagathy Sreekumar, Lalu Alex and Urvashi in supporting roles. It tells the story of Varunni (Mammootty), the uncultured and drunkard hunter who arrives in the village to kill a man-eating leopard. The film won two Kerala State Film Awards. The leopard, used in a number of scenes in the film, was lent by animal trainer Govindarajan Naidu. Sasi had said that, the climax fight scene with leopard was done by Mammootty without dupes.
Kalippattam (transl. Toy) is a 1993 Indian Malayalam-language film written and directed by Venu Nagavalli and starring Mohanlal, Urvashi, Thilakan, Kaviyoor Ponnamma, Jagathy and Nedumudi Venu. Mohanlal also sang a song ("Vazhiyoram") with Chithra for the film. The story is about the love between a violinist played by Mohanlal and a terminally ill girl played by Urvashi. The music and background score were composed by Raveendran.
Mazhayethum Munpe is a 1995 Malayalam romantic drama film directed by Kamal and written by Sreenivasan. The film stars Mammootty, Shobhana, Annie and Sreenivasan in the lead roles. The plot is centered upon a college professor named Nandakumar, his fiancée Uma Maheshwari, and his student Shruthi. The film was a commercial success. Annie won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress for her performance as Shruthi. In 2005, this movie was remade in Hindi by the same director as Zameer: The Fire Within starring Ajay Devgan, Ameesha Patel and Mahima Chaudhry.
Nerariyan CBI is a 2005 Indian Malayalam-language mystery film directed and produced by K. Madhu and written by S. N. Swamy. The fourth installment in the franchise of CBI investigative thrillers, Mammootty reprised the role of Sethurama Iyer, a Central Bureau of Investigation officer, with Mukesh and Jagathy Sreekumar reprising their roles as the associate officers Chacko and Vikram respectively and the background score composed by Shyam.
Oru Mukham Pala Mukham is a 1983 Indian Malayalam-language action film directed by P. K. Joseph, starring Ratheesh, Srividya, Mohanlal, and Mammootty. Ratheesh plays Raveendran Thampi, who takes vengeance against Subhadramma Thankachi (Srividya), for killing his family and adopting him. Mohanlal plays the real son of Subhadramma Thankachi, while Mammootty plays Raveendran Thampi's real father.
Oru Abhibhashakante Case Diary is a 1995 Indian Malayalam-language mystery legal drama film directed by K. Madhu and written by S. N. Swamy.The film stars Mammootty, Heera Rajagopal, Jagathy Sreekumar, Vijayaraghavan, Rajan P. Dev and Narendra Prasad. The plot is about a lawyer, seeking justice for a teenage girl who was raped and murdered. The film has soundtrack composed by Raveendran while the background music is scored by Rajamani.
