Thank You for Using GTL received positive reviews from critics. Matthew Ismael Ruiz at Pitchfork called it "likely the greatest rap album ever recorded from jail". Daniel Bromfield at Spectrum Culture noted its themes of "the carceral state, capitalism, the prison-industrial complex, the U.S. criminal justice system's targeting of rap and rappers, and the ongoing game of real vs. fiction taking place within hip hop itself." No Thank You is the fifth studio album by English rapper Little Simz. It was released on 12 December 2022 through the independent label Forever Living Originals after being announced less than a week prior. No Thank You is a hip hop album containing elements of gospel, afrobeat, soul, funk, and electronic music.
Purple Reign is the sixteenth mixtape by American rapper Future, hosted and executive-produced by DJ Esco and Metro Boomin. It was released on January 17, 2016 with an 11-hour notice via LiveMixtapes and DatPiff. It is Future's first non-commercial mixtape since the mixtape trilogy Monster (2014), Beast Mode, and 56 Nights (2015). Purple Reign follows the commercial collaborative mixtape What a Time to Be Alive with Canadian rapper Drake. The mixtape features production from frequent collaborators Metro Boomin, Southside, Zaytoven, DJ Spinz, and Nard & B, among others. The title and cover font is a tribute to Prince's landmark 1984 album Purple Rain, which is stylized in the same fashion.

His 2021 single, "Talk to Me" entered the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart and preceded his debut studio album, The Truth Hurts (2021).

Young Thug indicated an appearance, though he ultimately did not make the final cut. An electronic track with gospel and house elements, it relies on synths and features an interpolation of "Mercy" by West, Big Sean, Pusha T, and 2 Chainz.

Matthew Dean Burdette, known professionally as Blxst, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer from Los Angeles, California. He signed with Red Bull Records to release his debut extended play (EP), No Love Lost (2020). It spawned the single "Chosen", which peaked at number 51 on the Billboard Hot 100 and received platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). His 2022 single, "Die Hard" peaked at number five on the chart and remains his highest-charting song. His debut mixtape, Before You Go (2022), was released in April of that year and meekly entered the Billboard 200, while his debut studio album, I'll Always Come Find You (2024), failed to chart.
9th & Walnut is the eighth studio album by the American punk rock band the Descendents, released on July 23, 2021, through Epitaph Records. The album is made up of songs written by the band between 1977 and 1980, along with a cover of The Dave Clark Five's "Glad All Over". Only three of the originals had been previously released, with the album featuring re-recordings of "Ride the Wild" and "It's a Hectic World" from the band's first 7", as well as "Like the Way I Know", an outtake from the Milo Goes to College sessions that was eventually released on the 1999 compilation The Blasting Room.
