Thank You for Your Love is an EP by Antony and the Johnsons released on August 30, 2010 via Rough Trade Records (UK) and Secretly Canadian (US). It also serves as the lead single of the band's 2010 album Swanlights .
In an interview with Billboard Hegarty calls her cover-version of "Imagine" by John Lennon an "audacious choice, since it's sort of hallowed ground" and states that she recorded the Bob Dylan cover version at the same time as she recorded "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" for the I'm Not There soundtrack. The video for "Thank You for Your Love" consists of Super 8 footage Antony shot upon her arrival in New York City as a teenager in the early 1990s and is edited by David Boatman. [2]

Pitchfork call the E.P. "a coherent and unique entry in Antony's catalog", praising "Antony's singular voice and (the) deep rearrangements". [3] Slant Magazine were less impressed, calling the E.P a "slim, paltry offering", calling the Lennon cover "facile" although the review praises the " interesting, somber interpretation" of Bob Dylan's "Pressing On". [4] The review in AllMusic likes the Lennon cover better, stating that Hegarty's "falsetto moves the song from its trappings in the cultural imagination and liberates it as a respectful yet radical reinterpetation", summarizing that "as slight, whispy and utterly restrained as this set is, it offers an entirely different aural presentation of Hegarty". [5] Fact call the E.P. "minimal in every respect", calling "My Lord My Love" the standout track with its "beautiful expressions of religious experience" but is mostly critical of the other tracks. [6] Rolling Stone magazine called the Lennon cover "an unlikely, gorgeous reinvention" in a featured review of just that song. [7]

The Cities 97.1 Sampler was a series of albums, cassette tapes and CDs containing "live in studio" recordings from Studio C located at radio station Cities 97.1, KTCZ-FM in Minneapolis at 97.1 MHz. It occasionally contained live tracks recorded from local concerts in the Twin Cities. It was released annually during the holidays from 1989 to 2018. New volumes would appear each November at local Target stores in time for Christmas gifts. In later years the sampler was also available on Target.com. Proceeds benefited Minnesota charitable organizations. The albums, cassettes and CDs usually generated over $500,000 every year for Minnesota charities. In the last several years, the recordings sold quickly, disappearing within minutes in many stores.

The soundtrack album for the Bob Dylan biopic I'm Not There was released as a double CD on October 30, 2007. It features only one recording by Dylan himself—his previously unreleased recording of the title song "I'm Not There" recorded during The Basement Tapes' sessions in 1967—plus various other artists' recordings of songs written by Dylan. These CDs do not contain the movie sound track. Fragments from less than half of the titles are heard in the film, which features more of Dylan's own recordings. Swanlights is the fourth studio album by Antony and the Johnsons, released on October 12, 2010 worldwide through Secretly Canadian, and October 11, 2010 in the United Kingdom through Rough Trade. To accompany the album release, the band has produced a 144-page art book also titled Swanlights, which includes paintings, collages, photography and writing by Anohni. The album was preceded by lead single/EP Thank You for Your Love, released on August 30, 2010 in the UK and 1 September in the US.

Hopelessness is the debut solo album by British-American artist Anohni, former frontwoman of Antony and the Johnsons, released on 6 May 2016 on Secretly Canadian, Rough Trade, and Hostess. Featuring co-production by Hudson Mohawke and Oneohtrix Point Never, the album departs from the chamber pop style of her previous work, instead exploring an electronic sound and engaging directly with political and environmental themes in the form of protest songs.

"Pressing On" is a gospel song written and performed by the American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan and released as the sixth track on his 1980 album Saved. When the album was released it was considered by many critics to be "one of the few bright spots on the album" and has stood the test of time by being covered by more than half a dozen artists in the 21st century. The song was produced by Jerry Wexler and Barry Beckett.
