Thayamma Kudumbathaar is a 2024 Indian Tamil-language family drama serial directed by E.Vikkiramathithan and produced by Radaan Mediaworks. The show stars Radhika Sarathkumar, Venu Arvind and Mahalakshmi in lead roles. It premiered on DD Tamizh TV on 19 January 2024, along with two other serials Budget Kudumbam and Shakthi IPS. [1]
After Kizhakku Vaasal, Radaan Mediaworks decided to produce another show. Initially, the title of the serial was 'Thayamma'. [2] The first promo was released on 16 January 2024, showing the immediate release date on 19 January 2024. [3] [4] [5] The production team and the channel put an end to the rumors by releasing the first promo on 16 January 2024 on DD Podhigai and revealing the full title 'Thayamma Kudumbathaar'. [6] [7]
The production began with Radhika Sarathkumar and Venu Arvind cast in lead roles. [8] Venu Arvind made his comeback after the 2018-2019 serial Chandrakumari . Praharshitha and Mahalakshmi were selected to portray the supporting lead roles. Praharshitha made her comeback after eighteen years. [9]
