Leafcutter John is the recording name of John Burton, a UK-based musician and artist. He makes frequent use of Max/MSP in his compositions. Much of Burton's style is based in computer music and use of samples of everyday sounds. However, he also has roots as a folk musician, and this influence is apparent in his more recent work.

From Out Here is a 2014 album by Cate Brooks, under the pseudonym of The Advisory Circle. It was released on 5 December 2014 by independent record label Ghost Box Music on CD, online download, and 12" vinyl record. The album cover art was designed by Julian House.
Ghost Box is an independent, UK-based electronic music record label, launched in 2004 by graphic designer Julian House and producer Jim Jupp. Its roster includes artists such as Jupp's Belbury Poly, House's The Focus Group, and the Advisory Circle, as well as releases by Broadcast and John Foxx among others.
Belbury Poly is the studio band of Ghost Box Records co-founder Jim Jupp. Jupp is the main composer and producer and also plays synth, keyboards and guitar. Other members are session musicians, that have included: Christopher Budd on bass and lead guitar, Jim Musgrave on drums, James Allen on drums, David Sharp on acoustic guitar and Cate Brooks on piano.
Mind How You Go is a mini-album by Cate Brooks, under the pseudonym of The Advisory Circle. The album was released on 17 October 2005 on the Ghost Box Music label. It was re-released in 2009 with two extra tracks and renamed Mind How You Go Now.

Colin Stetson is a Canadian-American saxophonist, multireedist, and composer based in Montreal. He is best known as a regular collaborator of the indie rock acts Arcade Fire, Bon Iver, Bell Orchestre, and Ex Eye. In addition to saxophone, he plays clarinet, bass clarinet, French horn, flute, and cornet.

As The Crow Flies is the third album by Cate Brooks, under the pseudonym of The Advisory Circle. It was preceded by the album Other Channels. The album was released on 8 July 2011 on the Ghost Box Music label. The CD sleeve notes and bonus digital booklet contains an introduction by professor Ronald Hutton, as well as a paragraph quoted from his book, The Stations of the Sun.
Richard Michael Dawson is an English folk-influenced musician from Newcastle upon Tyne. His 2014 album Nothing Important was released by Weird World and was met with critical acclaim. His 2017 album Peasant received similar acclaim, and was chosen by The Quietus as their album of the year. In 2019, he released the album 2020, again to critical acclaim. Henki, a collaborative album made with the Finnish band Circle, was released in 2021, followed by another solo effort, The Ruby Cord, in 2022.

Laura Cannell is a British composer and improvising recorder player and violinist. Her work is known for combining the influences of early music, folk and experimental music. Her debut solo album Quick Sparrows over the Black Earth (2014), was named as a top album of 2014 by The Wire and her album Reckonings was named in the best albums and tracks of 2018 in The Guardian. Cannell's music has been frequently broadcast on BBC Radio 3, BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio 6Music, NTS Radio and internationally.
Jockstrap are an English musical duo consisting of Georgia Ellery and Taylor Skye, who met at London's Guildhall School of Music & Drama in 2016. The duo's music combines Ellery's half-whispered vocals and string arrangements with Skye's electronic production.
