The Almighty RSO was an American hip hop group from Boston, Massachusetts. Members included MCs E-Devious (Marco Antonio Ennis, later known as Antonio Twice Thou), Ray Dog (Ray Scott, later known as Benzino), Tony Rhome and DJ Deff Jeff.
One of their first breakthroughs was winning the ICA B-Town Rap Battle in 1986. In 1988 they released the single, "We're Notorious." Current Boston hip hop favorite Akrobatik said "Initially I would think of RSO Crew who were from here and making any type of noise. Locally, if I turned on the radio, those would be the guys that I would know who they were and follow their songs. I've definitely been checking them out from the beginning." [1]
In 1991, 17-year-old Rodney "Rock" Pitts joined as a MC referred by his cousin Big Hurst who was member of the Legion of Doom, the groups answer to the S1Ws. Rock was stabbed to death by a bouncer at a night club shortly after the group signed a deal with Tommy Boy Records.
In 1994 they released the EP Revenge of da Badd Boyz which created controversy with the single "One in the Chamba," which was inspired by two killings of youths by Boston Police. The Boston Police Patrolmen's Association (BPPA) pressed charges against the group under a state law that prohibits inciting assaults against public figures. The Almighty RSO spent a short period being part of Queen Latifah's Flavor Unit, appearing on the album Rollin' With The Flavor.
In 1996, they produced their first full-length LP, Doomsday: Forever RSO , which included the singles "You Could Be My Boo" featuring Faith Evans, "The War's On" featuring Mobb Deep and "You'll Never Know.
In 1998, Scott (now known as Benzino) and Ennis (now known as Twice Thou) formed the group Made Men with Cool Gsus and released an album entitled Classic Limited Edition .
Percy Robert Miller, better known by his stage name Master P, is an American rapper, record producer, record executive, dancer, actor and entrepreneur. He founded the record label No Limit Records in 1991, which was relaunched into the spin-off labels New No Limit Records and No Limit Forever Records. Miller gained fame in the mid-1990s as the lead and founding of the label's hip hop group TRU, as well as his fifth solo album, Ice Cream Man (1996), and its namesake lead single. His 1997 single, "Make 'Em Say Uhh!" received platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

Color Me Badd is an American contemporary R&B group that was formed in 1985 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, by lead singer Bryan Abrams, tenor Mark Calderon, second tenor Sam Watters and baritone Kevin Thornton. Color Me Badd broke up in 1998 before reuniting in 2010, with various lineups since.

The Flavor Unit is a crew of emcees and DJs from New York City and Northern New Jersey. It is now known as the Unit. The original version of the crew centered on producer the 45 King. It was Mark's connections to radio personalities DJ Red Alert and DJ Chuck Chillout that initially got the crew noticed, but the original members also all had formidable rhyme skills and wrote streetwise lyrics. The 45 King eventually fell into serious drug abuse and Queen Latifah took over the name; it became her umbrella organization. Flavor Unit Management is run by Latifah, one of the original members of the Flavor Unit, and Shakim Compere. Past management clients were Monica, Outkast, Faith Evans, Total, SWV, Almighty RSO, Groove Theory, Monifah, Gina Thompson, LL Cool J, Zhané, Donell Jones, and Naughty By Nature.
Operation: Doomsday is the debut studio album by British-American rapper MF Doom, released through Fondle 'Em Records on 19 October 1999 and reissued by Sub Verse Records in 2001 with a slightly altered track listing. It was his first solo release under the MF Doom moniker after previously performing as Zev Love X in the group KMD. Operation: Doomsday is regarded as one of the most influential albums in independent hip-hop history. A deluxe remastered version of the album was released by Doom's own Metal Face Records on 24 October 2011.

Doomsday: Forever RSO is the only full-length studio album by rap group The Almighty RSO. It was released on November 19, 1996 through Rap-A-Lot Records. The album only did slightly better than the group's previous release, peaking at 52 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. It featured Havoc-produced single, "The War's On" featuring Prodigy, which also appeared on the Original Gangstas soundtrack. The second and the only charting single in the group's brief history, "You Could Be My Boo" featuring Faith Evans, peaked at 10 on the Hot Rap Songs chart.

Revenge of da Badd Boyz is the only extended play by American rap group The Almighty RSO. It was released on September 27, 1994 through RCA Records. The album managed to make it to #97 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums.
"You Could Be My Boo" is the lead single from The Almighty RSO's second album, Doomsday: Forever RSO. It was produced by Crazy C and featured R&B singer Faith Evans. "You Could Be My Boo" became Almighty RSO's only charting single, having made it to #49 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks and #10 on the Hot Rap Singles. The song used a sample of Yo-Yo's verse the remix version of "I Wanna Be Down " by Brandy, which features MC Lyte, Queen Latifah and Yo-Yo herself, which was released two years earlier.
Classic Limited Edition is the only studio album by American hip hop group Made Men. It was released on August 24, 1999, through Restless Records and ZNO Records. The production was handled mostly by the group's production team Hangmen 3, alongside Deric "D-Dot" Angelettie, Kanye West, L.E.S., Dame Grease, Daz Dillinger, Trackmasters and Vincent Herbert. It features guest appearances from Wiseguys, Big Pun, Big Tray Deee, Cardan, Mase, Master P, Monifah, Montell Jordan, Queen Pen, Tha Dogg Pound and the Lox. The album peaked at No. 61 on the Billboard 200 and No. 9 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
"Beamer, Benz, or Bentley" is the first official single from Lloyd Banks' third album H.F.M. 2 , which was released on November 23, 2010. The song was released as a digital download on February 9, 2010. It was added to KAMP-FM in Los Angeles in four days from release.
The Made Men was an American rap group signed to Restless Records composed of former Almighty RSO members Benzino and Antonio Twice Thou, and Cool Gsus. The group first appeared on DJ Clue's debut album, The Professional on the self-titled track, "Made Men". They then issued their debut album Classic Limited Edition on August 24, 1999, but the album failed to meet expectations, only making it to 61 on the Billboard 200. Although they never released a follow-up, the group continued to make guest appearances on albums by other artists and soundtracks. They last appeared on Daz Dillinger's Who Ride wit Us: Tha Compalation, Vol. 1 in 2001.
Dimitri Leslie Roger, known professionally as Rich the Kid, is an American rapper and songwriter. After a number of independent mixtapes, he signed with Interscope Records in 2017 to release his debut studio album, The World Is Yours (2018). Supported by the singles "New Freezer" and "Plug Walk", the album peaked at number two on the Billboard 200. His second and third studio albums, The World Is Yours 2 (2019) and Boss Man (2020) peaked at numbers four and 24 on the chart, respectively. He has also released the collaborative mixtapes Nobody Safe (2020) with YoungBoy Never Broke Again, and Trust Fund Babies (2021) with Lil Wayne. Furthermore, he founded the record label Rich Forever Music in 2016, through which he has signed rappers Famous Dex and Jay Critch.
