The Amplifetes is a 4-piece band from Sweden. Influences range along a broad spectrum, including 60s psychedelia, the Electric Light Orchestra, The Ramones, Elvis Costello, David Bowie, and Chicago Trax Records. The individual members have had success as songwriters and producers, working with artists such as Kelis, Britney Spears, Madonna, Kylie Minogue, and Grandmaster Flash.
The band has been active since 2008. In 2010, they released their eponymous debut album. Four singles were taken from this album: It's My Life, Whizz Kid, Somebody New, and Blinded By The Moonlight. Following this, the band toured extensively over Europe for two years. [2]
Early summer 2012 saw the first sign of post-debut activity, as their new song Where Is The Light was launched, together with an accompanying internet video game. The full follow-up album Where Is The Light was released in early 2013, [3] with cover artwork supplied by Storm Thorgersen and the additional singles You/Me/Evolution and You Want It. [3]
The Amplifetes and their music have appeared in Vogue Italia , [4] Gaffa magazine, [5] Virgin Radio live, [6] Empreintes-digitales, [7] It´s Pop, [8] Kulturnews, [9] Zeromagazine, [10] and Fred Perry Subculture. [11]
The Amplifetes music have been used in various soundtrack areas. The appearance of It´s My Life in an advertisement for the Roberto Cavalli credit card starring Milla Jovovich [12] and "Somebody New" in a Garnier Fructis promotion and the TV-series 90210 are some examples. [13]

Michael Shawn Crahan, more commonly known by his stage persona "Clown", is an American musician. He is the co-founder and one of the percussionists for heavy metal band Slipknot, in which he is designated #6. Crahan helped form Slipknot in 1995 alongside bassist Paul Gray and drummer Joey Jordison. Crahan is the only remaining original member of the band.
David Andrew Sitek is an American musician and record producer, known for his work with his band TV on the Radio. He has also worked with bands such as Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Liars, Foals, Celebration, Little Dragon, Beady Eye, and Weezer, and produced free jazz-influenced remixes of songs by artists such as Beck and Nine Inch Nails, and has contributed a solo track to the Red Hot Organization Dark Was the Night charity compilation. He is also a photographer and painter.

Sultan Banks, better known as Traxamillion, was an American hip hop producer from San Jose, California. He produced records such as Keak da Sneak's "Super Hyphy" and Dem Hoodstarz "Grown Man Remix". His first album, The Slapp Addict, was a compilation of Bay Area hyphy artists and was released August 22, 2006.
The Remix Collection is a remix album by Kim Wilde. The album was released in 1993 in Japan and later in Australia. It contains some of her hits in long/extended versions and/or alternative remixes. For the first time available on CD are "The Second Time", "Never Trust a Stranger", and "Four Letter Word". A techno-style mix of "Kids in America" is included.

The Maurice Starr-penned tune was released in Germany on October 22, 1991, but did not chart. The song was played again in the 2008 New Kids on the Block reunion tour.
"Never Say Never" is a song by Canadian singer Justin Bieber. The song is used as the theme song for The Karate Kid, and features a rap verse from the film's star, Jaden Smith. Originally a risque demo with sexual lyrics performed by American singer Travis Garland, it was written and produced by The Messengers, and Omarr Rambert. However, Bieber was tapped to record the song for the film. He re-wrote the song with the original artists along with Jaden Smith and his vocal producer Kuk Harrell, to feature inspirational lyrics to foil the film's theme.

Never Say Never: The Remixes is the second remix album by Canadian singer Justin Bieber. Released on February 14, 2011, the album accompanies the release of Bieber's first film, Justin Bieber: Never Say Never (2011). The album mostly includes remixes of songs from Bieber's first studio album, My World 2.0 (2010), featuring guest appearances from Jaden Smith, Rascal Flatts, Usher, Chris Brown, Kanye West, Raekwon and Miley Cyrus. In addition, a brand-new track is also included. The Jaden Smith-assisted "Never Say Never", originally released as the theme song for the film The Karate Kid (2010), was included on the tracklist and re-released as the album's lead and only single on January 25, 2011.
Jane de Jong, known professionally as Ruby Frost, is a New Zealand singer and songwriter from Auckland. In 2009, she won the nationwide music competition MTV 42Unheard, giving her a recording contract with Universal Music New Zealand. Since then she has performed showcases at CMJ in New York and The Viper Room in LA; toured with Mt Eden, Cut Copy, Evermore and Van She; and opened for acts including Diplo, Nero, Kimbra, Digitalism and Garbage. She was one of the four judges in season one of The X Factor NZ, and was the runner-up mentor when her act Whenua Patuwai came second in the competition.

"Way Out" is a song by Swedish pop music duo Roxette, released on 10 June 2011 as the third and final commercial single from their eighth studio album, Charm School. The single was released solely in Germany and Austria, with their record label there opting to release another uptempo single, following the success of "She's Got Nothing On ". Elsewhere, a Bassflow remix of "Speak to Me" was released as the album's final commercial single. The song received generally positive reviews, and its music video was directed by Mikael Sandberg and Magnus Öhrlund.
