"The Rock Show" is a song recorded by American rock band Blink-182 for the group's fourth studio album, Take Off Your Pants and Jacket (2001). It was released as the lead single from the album on June 25, 2001. The track was composed primarily by bassist Mark Hoppus about meeting a girl at a rock concert. It was inspired by the band's early days touring punk rock clubs, mainly Soma in their hometown of San Diego.
Alkaline Trio is an American rock band from McHenry, Illinois. The band consists of guitarist and lead vocalist Matt Skiba, bassist and co-vocalist Dan Andriano, and drummer Derek Grant. Founded in late 1996 by Skiba, bassist Rob Doran, and drummer Glenn Porter, Alkaline Trio released its debut single, "Sundials", in 1997. Following its release, Doran departed from the band and was replaced by Andriano. The band subsequently recorded an EP, For Your Lungs Only (1998), and its debut studio album, Goddamnit (1998). Following the release of the band's second album, Maybe I'll Catch Fire (2000), Porter left the band and was replaced by Mike Felumlee for its subsequent album, From Here to Infirmary (2001).

Following their ascent to stardom and success of their prior two releases, the trio was compelled to take a break and subsequently participated in various side projects. When they regrouped, they felt inspired to approach song structure and arrangements differently on their next effort together. The album was left untitled as to refrain from labeling its content, and its packaging features a "smiley face" logo inspired by pop art.

He was a frequent collaborator with the now-late DJ AM, and together they formed TRV$DJAM. Due to his fame, Rolling Stone referred to him as "punk's first superstar drummer" as well as one of the 100 Greatest Drummers of All Time.
Def FX was an Australian band created by Sean Lowry in 1990 and included Martyn Basha on bass guitar and Fiona Horne on lead vocals. They released four albums, Light Speed Collision, Baptism, Ritual Eternal, Majick before disbanding in April 1997. For United States releases and touring they used Definition FX as their band name to avoid confusion with similarly named groups.

The song, produced entirely acoustic, features an acoustic electric bass, a cello, and a brushstroked drum loop. The song was inspired by The Cure song "The Love Cats" and contains references to The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993).

Keith Anderson is an American country music artist. Before signing to a record deal, Anderson was one of several co-writers on "Beer Run ", a duet by Garth Brooks and George Jones, released in late 2001. Anderson was signed as a recording artist to Arista Nashville in 2004. His debut single "Pickin' Wildflowers" was released that year, as the lead-off track from his debut album Three Chord Country and American Rock & Roll. Greatest Hits is the first greatest hits album of American rock band Blink-182. It was released on October 31, 2005 by Geffen Records. Greatest Hits was created by Geffen shortly after the band's February 2005 breakup, termed an "indefinite hiatus" by the label. Tensions had risen in the group and guitarist Tom DeLonge desired to take time off. Bassist Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker argued with DeLonge regarding the band's future and their possible next album, and heated exchanges led to DeLonge's exit. In the interim, Hoppus and Barker continued playing together in +44, and DeLonge formed his new outfit Angels & Airwaves.
"Boy with the Blues" is a song by the English rock band Oasis, written by frontman Liam Gallagher. The song was considered for inclusion on the band's sixth album, Don't Believe the Truth, but missed the final cut. In October 2005, Noel Gallagher announced that the song was set to lead a summer 2006 UK EP release. In an interview with the NME, he said: "I think we’re gonna put out just as a single, that’s not going be on the next album." The sessions for that EP never occurred and the release was cancelled in early 2006.

Socratic is an American rock band from Cranford and Linden, New Jersey. After signing to Drive-Thru Records in 2004, they released their debut full-length Lunch for the Sky in 2005, the Just Turn EP in 2006, Mark Hoppus-produced follow-up album Spread The Rumors in 2008 and their self-produced self-titled album Socratic in 2012. Socratic toured throughout their entire tenure performing in Japan, Australia, and the continental United States.
Dogs Eating Dogs is an EP by American rock band Blink-182, released on December 18, 2012 independently. Self-produced by the group and Chris Holmes, it was the sole recording that the band self-released after their departure from Interscope/DGC in October 2012, as well as their last recorded material with Tom DeLonge before his dismissal in 2015.
Glen Campbell: I'll Be Me is a 2014 American documentary film about country music singer Glen Campbell. Campbell and close friend Julian Raymond won a Grammy Award and were nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Song for writing the film's theme "I'm Not Gonna Miss You".
