The Vaselines are a Scottish alternative rock band. Formed in Glasgow, Scotland in 1986, the band was originally a duo between its songwriters Eugene Kelly and Frances McKee, but later added James Seenan and Eugene's brother Charlie Kelly on bass and drums respectively from the band Secession. McKee had formerly been a member of a band named The Pretty Flowers with Duglas T. Stewart, Norman Blake, Janice McBride and Sean Dickson. Eugene Kelly had formerly played in The Famous Monsters.

The Way of the Vaselines: A Complete History is a compilation album by the indie rock band The Vaselines. It was released in May 1992 on Sub Pop Records, catalogue SP145b. The album compiles every previous release by the band, the two EP's Son of A Gun and Dying For It, as well as their first long-playing album Dum-Dum, in chronological order of release. Three additional tracks are included: "Dying for It ", "Let's Get Ugly", and the previously unreleased "Bitch."

Tad (band) American metal band

Mark Hamilton (guitarist)

Mark Hamilton is a British lead guitarist who plays for UK rock band Quench,. He has also played for Warner Bros' Top 40 artist Doug Walker and features on Doug's debut album Fear Together (2009) as well as ex Dum Dums frontman Josh Doyle in the US, Vicky Beeching and Martyn Layzell. He has also appeared with various other artists for TV and recording sessions including Italian superstar Elisa, on the same bill as Destiny's Child at an MTV Live event. His most recent tour is as part of Josh Doyle's band on his current UK tour in May 2009. Current projects include King Awesome, a tribute to late 80s 'Hair Metal' and rock covers band Inner City Sumo.

Dum Dum Girls

Dum Dum Girls was an American rock band, formed in 2008. It began as the bedroom recording project of singer and songwriter Dee Dee. She is currently based in Los Angeles. The name is a double homage to the Vaselines' album Dum Dum and the Iggy Pop song "Dum Dum Boys".

The Beautiful Mistake is an eponymous EP by The Beautiful Mistake. It was first released in 2001 as the December EP, rerecorded in 2002 when the band signed with Sidecho Records and rerecorded again in 2003 due to the low quality of the previous recording.

A Cry Farewell is an American rap metal/nu metal band formed in Cincinnati, Ohio in 2009. The band's musical style evolved from a hard rock sound to more of a rap metal sound by the following year. American Beauty is a four-song EP by Bruce Springsteen that was released on limited edition 12-inch vinyl exclusively for Record Store Day on April 19, 2014. A digital download version was also released on April 22, 2014. The four songs that appeared on the EP are outtakes from Springsteen's 2014 album High Hopes. Springsteen said of the four songs, "they're just good music that didn't get onto this record, and was sitting there. I thought it's a nice time to support the record stores, which are dwindling and get some new music out at the same time."
