The Beaudry is a residential tower in downtown Los Angeles, California that is located within FIGat7th shopping mall. It was developed by Brookfield Properties and designed by architects Marmol Radziner and LARGE Architecture. The tower is named after former 19th century Los Angeles mayor, Prudent Beaudry. [2] [3]
Construction of the building started in 2020 with an overall height of 695 ft (211.8 m) and a 64-floor count. When completed, it became the tallest residential tower in Los Angeles and the tallest residential tower in California. [4] It surpassed the 58 floors 647 ft (197.2 m) Millennium Tower in San Francisco and 820 Olive Tower 637 ft (194.2 m) in Los Angeles. [5] The building site was previously a vacant lot. [6] The tower has 785 apartment units.
The Pentominium was a planned 122-storey, 517 m (1,696 ft) supertall skyscraper located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Construction on the tower was halted in August 2011. It was designed by Andrew Bromberg of architects Aedas and funded by Trident International Holdings. The AED 1.46 billion construction contract was awarded to Arabian Construction Company (ACC).
The Nishi-Shinjuku 3-Chōme Redevelopment (西新宿三丁目西地区市街地再開発) is a proposed redevelopment project in Nishi-Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan. The proposal includes 235m tall, 65-storey apartment buildings with a total floor area of 385,000 square metres (4,144,106 sq ft), along with retail on the lower floors. If built they will be the tallest purely residential towers in Japan. As of 2024 the development remains in the planning stage, with its expected completion being in 2029
World One is a 280.2 m (919 ft), 76-floor skyscraper in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. As of 2024, it is the second tallest completed building in India and the third tallest overall. It is on the 7.1-hectare (17.5-acre) site of the defunct Shrinivas Mill. The site also houses two other towers: World View and World Crest. The complex was developed by the Lodha Group.
OKO is a complex of two skyscrapers located on plot 16 in the Moscow International Business Center (MIBC) in Moscow, Russia. Occupying a total area of about 250,000 square metres (2,700,000 sq ft), the mixed-use complex houses apartments, office space, a 5-star hotel, and other commodities.
Haeundae LCT The Sharp is a major urban development project in Jung-dong, Haeundae District, Busan, South Korea. Located in front of Haeundae Beach, it consists of a 411.6 m (1,350 ft), 101-floor supertall landmark tower used as a hotel, and two 85-floor residential skyscrapers. It has an urban entertainment complex at the base housing a shopping mall, a hot spring spa and a water park. The landmark tower houses luxury and residential hotels with a convention center and an observatory on the 100th floor.
Marina 106, also known as the 106 Tower, is a supertall residential skyscraper, partially constructed but currently on hold, in Dubai, UAE. The building is planned to rise 449.5 m (1,475 ft) in the Dubai Marina, with 106 floors. The building was originally planned to be completed in 2019. Marina 106 was designed by the National Engineering Bureau, and is being developed by London Gate.
The Pacifica is a residential skyscraper in Auckland, New Zealand. Completed in 2020, it is the tallest residential building in New Zealand, surpassing the Metropolis, but is set to be overtaken in 2024 by the 187 m (614 ft) Seascape. The building overlooks Auckland city and the surrounding harbour at 178.7 metres (586 ft) and 57 floors in height.
