Aldo Nova is a Canadian guitarist, keyboardist, vocalist, songwriter, and producer. Nova initially gained fame with his self-titled debut album Aldo Nova in 1982 which climbed to Billboard's number 8 position, and its accompanying single, "Fantasy", which climbed to number 23 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Awake: The Best of Live is a greatest hits album by Live, released in 2004. The 19-track compilation includes songs from Live's first six studio albums as well as "We Deal in Dreams", an unreleased track from the Throwing Copper sessions, and a cover of "I Walk the Line" by Johnny Cash, recorded for the 2001 compilation Good Rockin' Tonight – The Legacy of Sun Records. The deluxe edition includes a DVD containing 22 music videos and a 30-minute interview with lead singer Ed Kowalczyk. The liner notes were written by Kowalczyk and Ken Wilber and the cover features a still from the video for the song "Lightning Crashes".

The Best of Van Morrison Volume 3 is a compilation album by Northern Irish singer-songwriter Van Morrison, that was released on 11 June 2007 in the UK with a digital version released in the U.S. on iTunes Store, on 12 June 2007. Manhattan/EMI Music Catalog Marketing released the CD version of the album on 19 June 2007 in the United States. This new two-disc collection of 31 tracks has been compiled by Morrison himself. It offers an overview of his large volume of material since the release of The Best of Van Morrison Volume Two in 1993. The album's thirty-one tracks include previously unreleased collaborations with Tom Jones and Bobby Bland as well as duets with John Lee Hooker, B.B. King and Ray Charles. The 2003 duet with Ray Charles is "Crazy Love" a song originally recorded on Morrison's 1970 album Moondance. "Blue and Green" was previously donated to be used on the charity album Hurricane Relief: Come Together Now, which raised money for relief efforts intended for Gulf Coast victims devastated by hurricane Katrina. The duet with Tom Jones, "Cry For Home" was taken from the same recording sessions that produced the "Sometimes We Cry" duet between the two artists, which featured on Jones' successful album Reload. "Cry for Home" was released as a single on 4 June 2007 in the UK, and was followed by "Blue and Green" on 27 August.

It reached number 8 on the Billboard 200 and was certified Gold by the RIAA on May 14, 1982, Platinum on February 14, 1989, and Double Platinum on December 5, 1994. Der Kommissar is a compilation album released by the band After the Fire in 1982, featuring the new title track, an English-language cover of a minor Falco hit from earlier that year. With the exception of "Der Kommissar", the singles featured on this compilation were originally from After the Fire's three studio albums recorded for the CBS label: Laser Love, 80-F, and Batteries Not Included. In the US, the album was released simply as ATF by Epic Records on LP and audio cassette with a different track list. It had been released in 2001 on CD by Collectables Records again with a different track list. The U.K. and European CD release follows the original track list. "Der Kommissar" became the band's biggest stateside hit, cracking the top 10.
