The Black Season EP is the debut extended play by American rapper Lex "The Hex" Master. The EP was originally released exclusively during Blaze Ya Dead Homie's The Casket Factory tour which ran from February 4, 2016 through March 13, 2016. It would later be released digitally on April 8, 2016.

Lex "The Hex" Master is an American rapper from Queens, New York. He signed to Twiztid's label Majik Ninja Entertainment in mid 2015.

Chris Rouleau, also known as Blaze Ya Dead Homie or simply Blaze is an American rapper from Mt. Clemens, Michigan. His stage persona is that of a reincarnated gang member killed in the late 1980s, and his lyrics derive from the hip hop styles of gangsta rap and horrorcore.

The Casket Factory is the 6th studio album, and 10th overall album from American rapper Blaze Ya Dead Homie. It was released on January 15, 2016 on Majik Ninja Entertainment.

Background

In October 2015 in the fall 2015 MNE Sampler, it was revealed that the new artist is named Lex "The Hex" Master. [1]

In January 2016 it was announced that Lex "The Hex" Master would be going on tour with Blaze Ya Dead Homie on his The Casket Factory Tour to promote The Casket Factory. It was also announced that Lex "The Hex" Master would be releasing his debut EP on the tour titled The Black Season EP. [2]

Promotion and release

To promote the EP, the song "Bomb On Em'" was released in October 2015. [1]

The EP was released on The Casket Factory Tour (February 4, 2016 – March 13, 2016) and then was available for sale on Twiztid-Shop.com. [2]

Singles

The first single from the EP was Bomb On Em and was accompanied by a music video on October 22, 2015. [1]

On January 8, 2016 the second single from the EP was released titled Ninjas. [3]

On September 7, 2016 the first music video from the EP for the song Raw Shit. [4]

Faygoluvers

Faygoluvers is a website originally dedicated to horrorcore music, and eventually included underground music as a whole. It was founded in 1999 initially to cover news relating to Insane Clown Posse and other similar artists. Over time, the website evolved to include the underground music community as a whole. They provide news articles, album reviews, music videos, free songs, filmed concerts, new interviews, upcoming events, and more. There is also featured content, such as the annual FLH Music Awards, the Unreleased Underground music archive, an Underground Spotlight section, a weekly podcast, and various other editorials.
