Writing for AllMusic, critic Brian Bailey wrote "This modest album is one of several tributes to older musical traditions that Hartford recorded late in his career. Solid if not the best, it remains worth searching out for the opportunity to hear the legend playing his banjo again." [1]
Green Day is an American rock band formed in the East Bay of California in 1987 by lead vocalist and guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong and bassist and backing vocalist Mike Dirnt. Joe's Garage is a three-part rock opera recorded by American musician Frank Zappa in September and November 1979. Originally released as two separate studio albums on Zappa Records, the project was later remastered and reissued as a triple album box set, Joe's Garage, Acts I, II & III, in 1987. The story is told by a character identified as the "Central Scrutinizer" narrating the story of Joe, an average adolescent male, from Canoga Park, Los Angeles, who forms a garage rock band, has unsatisfying relationships with women, gives all of his money to a government-assisted and insincere religion, explores sexual activities with appliances, and is imprisoned. After being released from prison into a dystopian society in which music itself has been criminalized, he lapses into insanity.
Gettin' In over My Head is the fourth studio album by American musician Brian Wilson, released June 2004 on Rhino Records. Many of the songs were reworked versions of tracks originally recorded for the scrapped album Sweet Insanity and the Andy Paley sessions from the 1990s. The record reached number 100 in the US, during a 1-week chart stay, and number 53 in the UK. Critical reaction was mixed.

Additional verses were added in May 1960 by Joe Hickerson, who turned it into a circular song. Its rhetorical "where?" and meditation on death place the song in the ubi sunt tradition. In 2010, the New Statesman listed it as one of the "Top 20 Political Songs".

Can You Hear Me Now is the fourteenth studio album by the American country music band Sawyer Brown. It was released in 2002 on Curb Records. The album's singles all failed to make Top 40 on the Hot Country Songs charts: "Circles" reached #45, the title track peaked at #47, and "I Need a Girlfriend" failed to chart. After the release of this album, the band recorded three new tracks for a religious-themed compilation, then left Curb for Lyric Street Records, where they released the #48-peaking "I'll Be Around" but no album. They would return to Curb in 2005 for the release of their fifteenth album, 2005's Mission Temple Fireworks Stand.

Hank Williams on Stage is the title of a posthumous live album of Hank Williams released by his record label, MGM in 1962. The performance is officially credited to Hank Williams and his Drifting Cowboys with Hank's first wife Audrey Williams, who sings back-up vocals. It was recorded as part of the "Health and Happiness Broadcasts" at the old Castle Recording Studio at Eighth and Church Streets in Nashville in October 1949. Long-time WSM announcer Grant Turner hosted the event and wrote the album's liner notes. This release has long since been supplanted by the complete "Health and Happiness" recordings. Not noted by the original author is the fact that this contains studio recordings interspersed with the "live" recordings on both this and the follow up album. The two albums do not contain every Health and Happiness Show.

Produced by Brian Wilson, the album was recorded to coincide with the band's 50th anniversary. It is their first album to feature original material since Summer in Paradise in 1992, their first album to feature guitarist and backing vocalist David Marks since Little Deuce Coupe in 1963, and their first album since the 1998 death of co-founder Carl Wilson.
