The Chase is the second studio album by Illy. The album was released in October 2010 with an online countdown track by track. [4] It includes collaborations with Owl Eyes, Hue Blanes, Wren, Oliver Daysoul and Joyride. [5] The bulk of the album was once again produced by M-Phazes. Three singles were released from the album, "The Chase", "It Can Wait" and "Cigarettes". "It Can Wait" was listed at #29 on the Triple J Hottest 100, 2010. [6]

Hilltop Hoods are an Australian hip hop group that formed in 1994 in Blackwood, Adelaide, South Australia. They are regarded as pioneers of the "larrikin-like" style of Australian hip hop. The group was founded by Suffa and Pressure, who were joined by DJ Debris after fellow founder, DJ Next, left in 1999. Bliss n Eso are an Australian hip hop trio based in Sydney, and were originally known as Bliss n' Esoterik for their debut EP The Arrival. Bliss n Eso are currently signed to Melbourne record label Illusive Sounds, and are managed and booked by label co-founders Adam Jankie and Matt Gudinski. Bliss n Eso have released six studio albums which include three number 1 debuts on the ARIA Charts. They have also won two ARIA Award for Best Urban Release for their 2008 album Flying Colours and for Best Music Video for their 2017 single "Moments". Eso, under the alias Esoterik, released an album entitled "My Astral Plane" in May 2018.

Horrorshow is an Australian hip-hop music duo from the Inner West region of Sydney that consists of producer Adit and rapper MC Solo. Horrorshow, together with Spit Syndicate, Jackie Onassis and Joyride, are members of One Day crew. Horrorshow are recognised as pioneers of the sub genre known as "Aussie hip-hop," alongside Illy, Drapht, Bliss n Eso, and Hilltop Hoods.

Golden Era Records is a record label that specializes in Australian hip hop music and is based in Stirling, South Australia, Australia. The label was founded in 2008 by South Australian hip hop trio Hilltop Hoods.

Perry Chapman, better known by his stage name Pez, is an Australian hip hop recording artist from Melbourne, Australia. He attended Kew High School in Melbourne's eastern suburbs. His debut album, A Mind of My Own peaked at No. 19 on the ARIA Urban albums chart.

Illy (rapper)

Alasdair David George Murray, professionally known as Illy, is an Australian rapper from Ormond, Victoria. Illy first emerged onto the hip hop scene in 2009 and has released five studio albums and has won multiple ARIA Music Awards. Illy has performed at many Australian music festivals including headline spots at Groovin the Moo, Splendour in the Grass, Spilt Milk and Yours and Owls.

Waka Flocka Flame American rapper from Georgia

Juaquin James Malphurs, known professionally as Waka Flocka Flame, is an American rapper. Signing to 1017 Brick Squad and Warner Bros. Records in 2009, he became a mainstream artist with the release of his singles "O Let's Do It", "Hard in da Paint", and "No Hands", with the latter peaking at number 13 on the US Billboard Hot 100. His debut studio album Flockaveli was released in 2010. His second studio album Triple F Life: Friends, Fans & Family was released in 2012 and was preceded by the lead single "Round of Applause".

Chance Waters

Chance Dylan Waters, is an independent Australian hip hop artist and record producer. As Phatchance, Waters was a founder of the group, Natural Causes, in 2003 which issued an album, The Incidental Noise Demo, and toured nationally. The group disbanded later that year.

George Kordas, better known by the stage name DJ Bonez, is a hip hop DJ and producer, originally from Sydney and currently based in Melbourne, Australia.

Seth Sentry

Seth Gabriel Marton, who performs by his stage name Seth Sentry, is an Australian hip hop recording artist. He has released one extended play and two studio albums. At the ARIA Music Awards of 2015 he won the ARIA Award for Best Urban Album for his album, Strange New Past.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis American hip hop duo

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis is an American hip hop duo, formed in 2008, from Seattle, Washington. The duo is composed of Ben Haggerty, a rapper who goes by the stage name of Macklemore, and Ryan Lewis, a record producer, DJ, and professional photographer, who met the former at a photo shoot; they have collaborated ever since. In 2009, they released their first collaborative effort, an EP titled VS. EP. They later followed up with VS. Redux (2010), the Grammy Award-winning album The Heist (2012) and This Unruly Mess I've Made (2016).
