The Chronicles Of Tim Powers is the second studio album by the American [1] rock duo [2] People on Vacation. Originally scheduled for release on 8 December 2014 and funded through PledgeMusic, [3] the album was released by Brando Records [4] on 3 February 2015. [5] The ensemble offered an EP, Holiday Vacation, to hold fans over until the work was released. [6]

The Tim Powers of the title was one of those who pledged and helped fund the album's recording. A Denton, Texas, criminal defense attorney he has represented numerous radio and music personalities in the Dallas Fort Worth area and is a friend of all of the band members of People on Vacation and Bowling for Soup. His likeness was drawn by Marvel Comics artists. [7]

The album was initially intended to be a 6-8 song EP but over the time spent in the studio recording there were still songs leftover so the band decided to release a full length album instead. The album is entirely fan funded through PledgeMusic, which the band would provide regular updates to pledgers throughout the making of the album which. It is the final studio album to feature bass guitarist Erik Chandler before his official departure on January 12, 2019.
