The Band was a Canadian-American rock band formed in Toronto, Ontario, in 1967. It consisted of four Canadians and one American: Rick Danko, Garth Hudson, Richard Manuel, Robbie Robertson, and Levon Helm. The Band combined elements of Americana, folk, rock, jazz, country, and R&B, influencing subsequent musicians such as the Eagles, Elton John, the Grateful Dead, the Flaming Lips, and Wilco.
Jaime Royal "Robbie" Robertson, OC, is a Canadian musician, songwriter, film composer, producer, actor, and author. Robertson is best known for his work as lead guitarist and songwriter for The Band, and for his career as a solo recording artist.

Demolierer-Polka op. 269 is a polka written by Johann Strauss II in 1862. The title chronicled a significant milestone in the history of Vienna, where earlier on 20 December 1857, Austrian emperor Franz Josef decreed that the city limits of the capital be expanded to cater to the further needs of a blooming and prosperous city. This would include the demolition of the ancient bastions surrounding the old inner city by scores of demolition men recruited from the Habsburg crownlands of Bohemia, Moravia and Croatia. This project would incorporate many of Vienna's suburbs and the removal of the medieval fortifications were replaced by the magnificent Ring boulevard with parks, gardens and many other structures of architecture grandeur.

Demolition Man is an EP released by A&M on September 21, 1993 and November 1, 1993 (UK) in support of the Sylvester Stallone/Wesley Snipes film Demolition Man. It features Sting's re-recording of The Police track "Demolition Man", as well as several live recordings. The live recordings were recorded at Villa Manin, Codroipo, Italy on 25 July 1993. The US and International/European EP release features the title track and five live recordings and sales for this release were listed on the US Albums Chart, as the UK release was a standard single which featured an exclusive single version of the title track as well as the album version and two live recordings. The UK release charted therefore on the UK Singles Chart, where it peaked at number 21.

Plants and Animals are a Canadian indie-rock band from Montreal which comprises guitarist-vocalists Warren Spicer and Nic Basque and drummer-vocalist Matthew Woody Woodley.
