The Clydesdale was an indie band from Las Vegas, Nevada who grew prominent in the independent Las Vegas alt country and cowpunk community. [1] Their sound is described by Rolling Stone as "bluegrass rock" fit for "the soundtrack to a western directed by Quentin Tarantino." [2] Their members, who perform dressed in western wear, include Paige Overton and her trademark "ever-evolving beehive" hairdo (vocals, guitar), Andrew Karasa, a carpenter who builds his own instruments and once cut his middle finger off with a table saw a mere week before performing with the band (vocals, guitar), Jason Aragon, who co-created Las Vegas' Neon Reverb Music Festival (bass), and Courtney Carroll, who has played in several Las Vegas bands including Venus Diablo (formerly Smurfette's Whorehouse) and Kid Meets Cougar (drums). In 2013, the band celebrated the release of their album The Trail of the Painted Pony when they performed at Las Vegas' Neon Reverb music festival with Coastwest Unrest, who also released a new album at the event. [7] [8] The band was working on a self-produced LP due out sometime in 2015. [9]

The shop was well known having one of the largest collection of vintage guitars in North America and boasted a client list of celebrities, which includes Carlos Santana and Imagine Dragons. Owner Jesse Amoroso has appeared several times as the vintage guitar expert on the History Channel's reality television series Pawn Stars. The shop closed in 2019 following a prolonged decline in other business ventures run by the Amorosos.

Casey Weldon is an American artist best known for his use of melancholy and humor in conjunction with the iconography of modern pop culture, leading his critics to designate his style as "post-pop surrealism." Weldon's style has been likened to that of André Breton and René Magritte. His most famous work is a series of paintings known as Four-Eyed Cats. The band released their V EP on May 19, 2014. This was a follow-up to the Possibilities EP, which released on July 9, 2013, via Atlantic Records. The debut EP features the single "Neon Eyes".

The Rize of the Fenix Tour was a worldwide concert tour by American rock band Tenacious D. The tour was in support of the band's 2012 album Rize of the Fenix, with the tour visiting North America and Europe. The tour began on May 23, 2012 and ended on October 24, 2012, featuring 45 shows in total. The full show performed at Rock am Ring and highlights from the performance at Rock im Park were broadcast live on German TV. Highlights from the Download Festival performance were broadcast in the UK on the Sky Arts channel. These broadcasts have since been uploaded to the Internet unofficially by YouTube users. This was the band's second major concert tour, following The Pick of Destiny Tour, which toured from late 2006 to early 2007.
