The Crash VI Aniversario or The Crash Sexto Aniversario (Spanish for The Crash 6th Anniversary Show) is a professional wrestling supercard event, scripted and produced by the Mexican lucha libre wrestling company The Crash Lucha Libre, which took place on November 4, 2017 at Auditorio Fausto Gutierrez in The Crash Lucha Libre's home town of Tijuana, Baja California. The event commemorated the creation of The Crash Lucha Libre in November 2011 and is their biggest show of the year.

The main event match was the payoff of a long running storyline feud between Bestia 666 and Jack Evans. The two rivals faced off in a Lucha de Apuestas , hair vs. hair match to settle it once and for all. The show ended with Bestia 666 pinning Evans. Forcing Evans to be shaved bald as a result. In the semi-main event, Rey Mysterio defeated Penta el 0M, La Máscara, and Rush to become the very first wrestler to hold The Crash Heavyweight Championship.

Among the remaining six matches, the Aniversario show featured Arkángel Divino successfully defending The Crash Junior Championship against Astrolux, Mirage, Tiago, Último Maldito, and Black Boy. Keyra retained The Crash Women's Championship against Baronessa, Christi Jaynes, and Lacey Lane

Background

The Crash Lucha Libre began operating on 2011, focusing mainly on promotion professional wrestling event in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. Their first show was held on November 4, 2011 with a main event of El Hijo del Santo and Latin Lover defeating El Hijo del Solitario and Marco Corleone. [2] The Crash held shows on a limited schedule over the next couple of years; 4 in 2012, [3] 4 in 2013, [4] 2 in 2014, [5] and 5 in 2015. [6] The group held The Crash V Aniversario show on November 26, 2016, the first time they billed one of their shows as a direct celebration of their anniversary. [7]

Storylines

The Crash VI Aniversario show featured eight professional wrestling matches scripted by The Crash with some wrestlers involved in scripted feuds. The wrestlers portray either heels (referred to as rudos in Mexico, those that play the part of the "bad guys") or faces (técnicos in Mexico, the "good guy" characters) as they perform in the ring. Homenaje a Dos Leyendas: El Santo y Salvador Lutteroth (1999) was a professional wrestling supercard show event, scripted and produced by Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre. The Dos Leyendas show took place on March 19, 1999 in CMLL's main venue, Arena México, Mexico City, Mexico. The event was to honor and remember CMLL founder Salvador Lutteroth, who died in March 1987. This was the first major March show under the Homenaje a Dos Leyendas name, having previously been known as Homenaje a Salvador Lutteroth. Starting in 1999 CMLL honored not just their founder, but also El Santo, the most famous Mexican professional wrestler ever. The name of the annual March event would later be shortened to just Homenaje a Dos Leyendas after CMLL had a falling out with El Santo's son El Hijo del Santo, with the event honoring a different wrestler along with Lutteroth.

Arena Naucalpan 35th Anniversary Show 2012 International Wrestling Revolution Group event

The Arena Naucalpan 35th Anniversary Show was an annual professional wrestling major event produced by Mexican professional wrestling promotion International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG), which took place on December 20, 2012 in Arena Naucalpan, Naucalpan, State of Mexico, Mexico. The show celebrated the 35th Anniversary of the construction of Arena Naucalpann, IWRG's main venue. The main event was a five team steel cage match contested under elimination rules. The teams were La Familia de Tijuana, Los Hermanos Dinamita, Jr. and the father/son duos of Dr. Wagner, Jr. and El Hijo de Dr. Wagner, Jr., El Canek and El Canek, Jr. and Los Piratas. Damian 666 was originally slated to team with his son Bestia 666, but was replaced by X-Fly. The match was contested under escape rules, which meant that the last team member in the ring would be the loser. Dr. Wagner, Jr. as well as Los Infierno Rockers and Los Psycho Circus who worked on the under card all appeared through IWRG's working relationship with fellow Mexican wrestling promotion AAA. The undercard also saw the continuation of the storyline feud between Fuerza Guerrera and Black Terry as well as a Torneo cibernetico elimination match between a team representing IWRG's wrestling school and a team representing Fuerza Guerrera's school Gimnasio Konkreto.

Rebelión de los Juniors (2012) was an annual professional wrestling major event produced by Mexican professional wrestling promotion International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG), which took place on March 15, 2012 in Arena Naucalpan, Naucalpan, State of Mexico, Mexico. The main event of the match was a 10-man elimination match featuring 10 "Juniors" with the last surviving participant becoming the #1 contender for the IWRG Junior de Juniors Championship held by Trauma I at the time. The ten competitors were Bestia 666, Carta Brava, Jr., El Canek, Jr., Apolo Estrada, Jr., Halcón 78, Jr., El Hijo de L.A. Park, Hijo de Pirata Morgan, El Hijo de Dr. Wagner, Jr., Máscara Sagrada, Jr. and Ultraman, Jr.. The main event came down to just Bestia 666 and Hijo de Pirata Morgan left in the ring. During the match the referee was knocked down, which allowed La Familia de Tijuana remembers Damian 666, Halloween, Super Nova and Zumbi to come to the ring to attack Hijo de Pirata Morgan, allowing Bestia 666 to pin his opponents only moments later.

The Crash Tag Team Championship Professional wrestling tag team championship

The Crash Tag Team Championship is a professional wrestling tag team championship promoted by the Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico based The Crash Lucha Libre and is for two-man tag teams only. The championship was first introduced on May 8, 2015, and was the second championship created by the Crash, after The Crash Cruiserweight Championship was introduced in 2013. As it was a professional wrestling championship, the championship was not won not by actual competition, but by a scripted ending to a match determined by the bookers and match makers. On occasion the promotion declares a championship vacant, which means there is no champion at that point in time. This can either be due to a storyline, or real life issues such as a champion suffering an injury being unable to defend the championship, or leaving the company.

The Crash VII Aniversario or The Crash Séptimo Aniversario was a professional wrestling supercard event, scripted and produced by the Mexican lucha libre wrestling company The Crash Lucha Libre, which took place on November 3, 2018 at Auditorio Fausto Gutierrez in The Crash's home town of Tijuana, Baja California. In the main event Rebellion Amarilla members Garza Jr. and Bestia 666 faced off in a Luchas de Apuestas, hair vs. hair match, with the storyline being that Rebellion Amarilla claimed everyone else was afraid to take their challenge. In the end Bestia 666 forced Garza Jr. to submit and afterwards had all his hair shaved off as a result.

The 53rd Anniversary of Lucha Libre in Estado de Mexico show was a professional wrestling supercard event produced by Mexican professional wrestling promotion International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG), and took place on December 16, 2015 in Arena Naucalpan, Naucalpan, State of Mexico, Mexico. The event commemorated the sport of lucha libre becoming allowed in the State of Mexico, with the first lucha libre show held in the state taking place in December 1962. Over the years IWRG has on occasion celebrated the anniversary, although not consistently holding an anniversary show every year.

The show was the first time that FCP and The Crash held a joint show. The show also featured wrestlers from Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) as part of a The Crash/CMLL working arrangement at the time.

The Crash WrestleCon show was a professional wrestling supercard event, scripted and produced by the Mexican lucha libre wrestling company The Crash Lucha Libre, which took place on April 6, 2018. The show was held at The Sugar Mill in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA and was the first time The Crash had held a show in the United States.
