Darkest Hour (band)

Darkest Hour is an American heavy metal band from Washington, D.C., formed in 1995. Though failing to break through early in their tenure, the band has received acclaim for their albums Undoing Ruin, Deliver Us, and The Eternal Return. Deliver Us debuted at number 110 on the Billboard album charts, with sales of 6,600, and their more recent effort The Eternal Return garnered them an even higher position in the Billboard album charts at number 104. Their latest album Godless Prophets & the Migrant Flora charted at 42 on the Billboard 200, a peak for the band, and it marked a stylistic shift in the band's discography.

It is a national survey of club disc jockeys to determine the most popular songs being played in nightclubs across the country. It was launched as the Disco Action Top 30 chart on August 28, 1976, and became the first chart by Billboard to document the popularity of dance music. The first number-one song on the chart for the issue dated August 28, 1976, was "You Should Be Dancing" by the Bee Gees, spending five weeks atop the chart and the group's only number-one song on the chart.

Panic! at the Disco American rock solo project

Panic! at the Disco is the solo project of American musician Brendon Urie. It was originally a pop rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada, formed in 2004 by childhood friends Brendon Urie, Ryan Ross, Spencer Smith and Brent Wilson. They recorded their first demos while they were in high school. Shortly after, the band recorded and released their debut studio album, A Fever You Can't Sweat Out (2005). Popularized by the second single, "I Write Sins Not Tragedies", the album was certified triple platinum in the US. In 2006, founding bassist Brent Wilson was fired from the band during an extensive world tour and subsequently replaced by Jon Walker. The band's second album, Pretty. Odd. (2008), was preceded by the single "Nine in the Afternoon". That album marked a significant departure from the sound of the band's debut. Ross and Walker, who favored the band's new direction, departed because Urie and Smith wanted to make further changes to the band's style. Ross and Walker subsequently formed a new band, the Young Veins, leaving Urie and Smith as the sole remaining members of Panic! at the Disco.

Panic! at the Disco is an American pop rock band that originated in Las Vegas, Nevada. Their 2005 debut album, A Fever You Can't Sweat Out, reached number 13 on the US Billboard 200, and has sold more than 2.2 million copies since its September 2005 release, spearheaded by the quadruple platinum top 10 hit single, "I Write Sins Not Tragedies". Little Boots

Victoria Christina Hesketh, better known by her stage name Little Boots, is an English electropop singer-songwriter and DJ. She was previously a member of the band Dead Disco. Since performing as a solo artist she has released three albums, Hands (2009), Nocturnes (2013) and Working Girl (2015) and a number of associated EPs and remixes. Hesketh has toured internationally both as a DJ-only act as well as with a full band. Hands reached number five on the UK Albums Chart and the singles "New in Town" and "Remedy" became top twenty hits.

Imran Khan is a Dutch-Pakistani Punjabi singer and songwriter. He became known in 2007 after his first single "Ni Nachleh" produced by Eren E. Khan was signed to Prestige Records in late 2007, and released the single "Ni Nachleh" on the label. His second single, "Amplifier" produced by Eren E was released on 13 July 2009, and later several others. His song "Satisfya" is his most viewed video till date for over 500 million+ views. His debut 15-track album Unforgettable was released on 27 July 2009 via Prestige Records. was produced by Eren E and Hakan Ozan.

My Darkest Days

My Darkest Days was a Canadian rock band based in Peterborough, Ontario consisting of lead singer Matt Walst, bassist Brendan McMillan, drummer Doug Oliver, and keyboardist Reid Henry. They were discovered by Chad Kroeger of Nickelback, who signed them to his record label, 604 Records. They are best known for their 2010 single "Porn Star Dancing".

"Porn Star Dancing" is the debut single by the Canadian rock band My Darkest Days from their self-titled debut album released on September 21, 2010. The single itself was released on June 21, 2010, preceding the release of the album by three months. The song spent 26 weeks on Billboard's Rock Songs chart where, on December 11, 2010, it peaked at number seven. It performed better on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, where it spent two weeks at number one. Chad Kroeger of Nickelback sings a verse in the "Porn Star Dancing" video, which was filmed at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, as does American rapper Ludacris, and Black Label Society frontman Zakk Wylde does a guitar solo. The music video was directed by Brendan Cochrane. Ludacris was originally featured only in the Canadian release of the video; however, due to the popularity of the track, it was subsequently adopted as the mainstream video release.

The song was released through Fueled by Ramen and DCD2 Records on May 23, 2018, as the second single from the band's sixth studio album, Pray for the Wicked (2018). The song was written and produced by Jake Sinclair and Jonas Jeberg, and co-written by Brendon Urie, Jenny Owen Youngs, Lauren Pritchard, Sam Hollander, William Lobban-Bean, Taylor Parks, and Ilsey Juber; with additional production by Jonny Coffer. It was serviced to alternative radio on July 31, 2018, and impacted hot adult contemporary radio on August 27, 2018, and US pop radio the following day. The music video was also released on August 27, 2018.

Disco is the fifteenth studio album by Australian singer Kylie Minogue. It was released on 6 November 2020 by Darenote and BMG Rights Management. Following the completion of the Golden Tour and her performance at the Glastonbury Festival in 2019, Minogue sought to create a disco-influenced record and enlisted producers such as Sky Adams, Teemu Brunila and Biff Stannard. The album was predominantly recorded at the singer's home studio during the COVID-19 pandemic, with Minogue gaining engineering credits for vocals and synths.
