The New Bomb Turks are an American punk rock band formed at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, United States, in 1990. The founding members are Jim Weber, Eric Davidson, Bill Randt, and Matt Reber. Sam Brown replaced Bill Randt on drums in 1999. Early on their inspiration came from the Devil Dogs, Lazy Cowgirls, Union Carbide Productions, Didjits, and the Fluid. Music magazine Alternative Press has described their musical style, saying, "Not only have both prole-threat punk bashery and destructo-rock found fresh voices, they've been melded into a seamless new terror all its own." The New Bomb Turks have released ten full-length LPs, two EPs, and over twenty singles, some of which contain songs not available elsewhere. Their early recordings appear on the Datapanik, Sympathy For The Record Industry, Get Hip and Bag of Hammers labels. Crypt Records signed the band and released !!Destroy-Oh-Boy!!, Information Highway Revisited, and Pissing Out The Poison. Then Epitaph Records signed them and released LPs Scared Straight, At Rope's End and Nightmare Scenario. Gearhead Records released their next album, The Night Before the Day the Earth Stood Still. The band also released three b-side and outtakes compilations: Pissing Out the Poison, The Big Combo, and Switchblade Tongues & Butterknife Brains.
Sonny Vincent is an American Rock musician. He has been active in music since the '60s—in particular the mid-1970s, when he was part of the New York City punk rock scene with his original band, Testors. Vincent is currently active in music, film, multi-media art, and writing. His pedigree includes mid-70s Testors' performances at C.B.G.B. and Max's Kansas City. Always active in his own bands, Vincent also spent time touring and recording for 9 years as Maureen "Moe" Tucker and Sterling Morrison's guitar player Members of Vincent's bands include a vast range of players/characters, from the drummer of the Stooges, Scott Asheton, to Charles Manson's one-time guitar player, Ernie Knapp.
The Young Fresh Fellows are an American alternative rock group, that was formed in 1981 in Seattle, Washington, United States, by Scott McCaughey and Chuck Carroll. Tad Hutchison, Chuck Carroll's first cousin, joined for the recording of the group's debut album in 1983.
Reigning Sound was an American rock and roll band originally based in Memphis, Tennessee, United States. As of 2019, along with fronting Reigning Sound, Cartwright also reformed his past band Greg Oblivian and the Tip Tops. In 2020, he also reformed with the original "Memphis lineup" of Reigning Sound is once again playing shows with the outfit's first incarnation. In a June 8, 2022, message on the group's Facebook page, Cartwright formally announced the end of Reigning Sound.

For the purposes of the band, Evans is frequently billed as either "Monsieur Evans" or "Monsieur Jeffrey Evans". Don Howland is an American underground musician best known for his work in the punk-blues duo the Bassholes beginning in 1992. Prior to the Bassholes, Howland played guitar and sang with the Gibson Brothers, a Columbus, Ohio-based demented roots rock band that included Monsieur Jeffrey Evans, Dan Dow, Ellen Hoover, and later Jon Spencer and Rich Lillash. Lillash, Lamont "Bim" Thomas and James Owen have all drummed with the Bassholes in recent years. Howland also was a member of Wooden Tit and a Burning Bus. Howland participated in the Ego Summit project in 1997, which brought together longtime Columbus underground performers including Jim Shepard and Mike (Amrep) Rep, Tommy Jay (Jones) and Ron House. He has recorded for many independent labels including Matador, In the Red, Sympathy for the Record Industry, Hate Records (IT), Dead Canary, Revenant, Siltbreeze, Columbus Discount Records, and 12XU. He hosts a 20th-century classical music radio show on WSFM-LP, a community station.

Duprey first came to prominence as guitarist for the mid-1970s New York City underground pop band Mumps, led by Lance Loud and Kristian Hoffman. Later, he worked with Iggy Pop, playing guitar on Party (1981) and co-writing the bulk of Zombie Birdhouse.
