Yann Tiersen is a French musician and composer. His musical career is split between studio recordings, music collaborations and film soundtracks songwriting. His music incorporates a large variety of classical and contemporary instruments, primarily the electric guitar, the piano, synthesisers and the violin, but also folkoric instruments like the melodica, xylophone, toy piano, harpsichord, piano accordion or even typewriter.
Dan Ar Braz is a Breton guitarist-singer-composer and the founder of L'Héritage des Celtes, a 50-piece Pan-Celt band. Alan Charles Wilder is an English musician, composer, arranger, record producer, and a former member of the electronic band Depeche Mode from 1982 to 1995. Since his departure from the band, the musical project called Recoil became his primary musical enterprise, which initially started as a side project to Depeche Mode in 1986. Wilder has also provided production and remixing services to the bands Nitzer Ebb and Curve. Alan Wilder was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2020 as a member of Depeche Mode. He is a classically trained musician.
Recoil is a musical project created by English musician and former Depeche Mode member Alan Wilder. Essentially a solo venture, Recoil began whilst Wilder was still in Depeche Mode as an outlet for his experimental, less pop-oriented compositions. Once he announced his departure from the group in 1995, Recoil became Wilder's primary musical enterprise.

"Condemnation" is a song by English electronic music band Depeche Mode, released on 13 September 1993 as the third single from their eighth studio album, Songs of Faith and Devotion (1993). The song reached No. 9 on the UK Singles Chart, No. 3 in Sweden, and No. 1 in Portugal.
Rue des cascades is the second studio album by the musician and composer Yann Tiersen. It was released through Sine Terra Firma in 1996, and subsequently reissued in 1998, 2001, and 2009 through Ici, d'ailleurs... and Virgin Records in CD and double LP formats. The album, with the exclusion of two pieces, "Naomi" and "La Vie quotidienne", is a collection of short pieces recorded with toy piano, harpsichord, violin, accordion, mandolin, and other conventional and unconventional musical instruments such as an old typewriter in "Pas si simple". The title track, which was used about one year later for the film score of the Palme d'Or nominated French drama film The Dreamlife of Angels, was sung by French soloist singer Claire Pichet, who also provided vocals on the track "Naomi", a song that features words from Allen Ginsberg's poem "Kaddish". François-Xavier Schweyer played the cello on "C'était ici" and "La Fenêtre". Three tracks, "J'y suis jamais allé", "Pas si simple", and "Soir de fête", will find a wider audience five years later when they were featured on the soundtrack to Jean-Pierre Jeunet's acclaimed film Amélie.

48 Cameras, often referred simply as 48C, is a musical and international collective in a format that varies according to circumstances. It was created in 1984 by both musicians and non-musicians, some currently living in Belgium, Netherlands, United Kingdom, etc. To this day, 48 Cameras recorded 13 albums, the work being done frequently via the Internet, allowing the collective to welcome various guests from diverse cultures and a wide range of disciplines : Annemarie Borg, Rodolphe Burger, Andy Cairns (Therapy?), David Coulter, Michel Delville, Sandy Dillon, Michael Gira, Marcel Kanche, Tom Heasley, Gerard Malanga, Martyn Bates,, DJ Olive, Charlemagne Palestine, Philippe Poirier, Nicholas Royle, Eugène Savitzkaya, Robin Rimbaud (Scanner), Malka Spiegel, Vesica Piscis, Aaron Ximm, etc. The music created has been described as being alternative, ambient, art rock, dark, folk, industrial or even psychedelic. AMzer – Seasons is the 24th album by Breton musician Alan Stivell, released on 2 October 2015 through WorldVillage in France and other countries. "NEw' AMzer" was the first single to be released from it. This track was also released as a promotional video.

"Rendez Vous" is a song recorded by Romanian recording artist Inna for her eponymous and fourth studio album (2015) and its Japanese version Body and the Sun (2015). It was made available for digital download as a single on 12 February 2016 through Roton. The song makes use of a sample of Mr. President's "Coco Jamboo" (1996), resulting in writing credits for its composers Rainer Gaffrey, Kai Matthiesen and Delroy Rennalls. "Rendez Vous" was written by Ilsey Juber, Andreas Schuller and Thomas Troelsen, and produced by Troelsen and Schuller under the name Axident. Musically, the mid-tempo song contains acoustic elements and Eurodance influences in its refrain, with Inna singing about meeting the man she loved in the summer.
Stefan Wesołowski is a Polish composer, producer. He is currently working with an American record label Important Records, French label Ici, d'ailleurs... and a British publisher Mute Song. His work combines classical instruments with modified electronics, generating poignant, detailed and richly orchestrated compositions. Wesołowski lives and works in Gdańsk, Poland.
