The Emily Atack Show is a British comedy television series, hosted by Emily Atack and shown on ITV2. Each episode combines her stand-up shows at London's Clapham Grand with sketches and impressions, while focusing on a particular topic relevant to young women. [1]

In 2020, ITV revealed the first series of the show achieved the biggest audience for a female-led stand up show that year. [2] In 2021, it was nominated for ‘Best Comedy’ at the TV Choice Awards; series 2 was broadcast the same year. In 2022, it was announced that the show would be renewed for a third series; it began broadcasting on 27 September that year.

Broadcast

The first season ran for six episodes during late 2020. [3] Following its debut series, the show was renewed for a second series in March 2021. [2] [4] A third season was announced in February 2022 [5] and began broadcasting seven months later. [6]

Sonny with a Chance is an American teen sitcom created by Steve Marmel that aired on Disney Channel for two seasons between February 2009 and January 2011. The series centers on Sonny Munroe, portrayed by Demi Lovato, a teenage comedian from Wisconsin who joins the cast of a sketch comedy television series titled So Random! after moving to Hollywood, Los Angeles. Episodes deal with Sonny's attempts to develop relationships with her castmates and establish her role within the group, focusing on her life working on the show's set, as well as coming to terms with her newfound fame. Celebrity Juice was a British television comedy panel game broadcast on ITV2 between 24 September 2008 and 15 December 2022. The show was written and presented by Leigh Francis in the role of his alter ego Keith Lemon. The format for the series was first suggested in 2007, after the final series of Francis’s Channel 4 sketch show Bo' Selecta!. ITV approached him to create a show featuring Lemon, and after the success of the five-part series Keith Lemon's Very Brilliant World Tour, the channel commissioned Celebrity Juice. The series follows the same premise as the first instalment in 2020, covering Emily Atack's performances at the Clapham Grand with sketches and impressions.

Catherine Verona Gordon, known professionally as Verona Rose, is an English actress, comedian, television presenter and writer. She is known for writing and starring in various comedy series and for presenting the dating series Secret Crush on ITV2. She is also a regular fixture on British panel shows and was a contestant on the E4 series The Real Dirty Dancing in 2022.
