The Endless Summer is a mixtape by American rapper G-Eazy. The mixtape was released on August 12, 2011. The release of The Endless Summer saw G-Eazy achieve his first notable success, with the mixtape being nominated for Best Rap/Hip-Hop Album or Mixtape 2011. [1]
Concerning distribution, the mixtape was released free via a number of sites. G-Eazy explained his decision in doing this in an interview with Earmilk in August 2011, "I just give it all away for free. I find it reaches more people that way. I understand that this new business model scares some people, including the major labels, but that's because they haven't quite figured out how to adapt yet."

Doctor's Advocate is the second studio album by American hip hop recording artist the Game, released on November 14, 2006, through Geffen Records. The album is his second major-label release, following 2005's The Documentary, which was released under Aftermath Entertainment, G-Unit Records and Interscope Records. Due to his disputes with G-Unit leader and founder 50 Cent, Game left Aftermath and G-Unit; he was later transferred from Interscope to its division, Geffen Records, another label under Universal Music Group's Interscope Geffen A&M faction to terminate his contractual obligations with G-Unit, in the summer of 2006.

He signed with California rapper Hopsin's independent record label Funk Volume in 2012, and released his third mixtape, Freebasing with Kevin Bacon in June of that year.
