The Fable is a 2024 film directed by Raam Reddy, starring Manoj Bajpayee, [1] Hiral Sidhu, Priyanka Bose, Tillotama Shome, Awan Pookot [2] and Deepak Dobriyal. Like Thithi (2016), it is an Indian-American co-production, jointly produced by Pratap Reddy and Sunmin Park, under Prspctvs Productions and Maxmedia, respectively.
The film premiered at the 74th Berlin International Film Festival on February 16, 2024. It will compete in the festival's Encounters segment, which features 14 other titles from around the globe. [2] It is only the second Indian film in the last 30 years to premiere in one of the key competitive sections of the Berlin International Film Festival. [3] The film was shot in 16mm.
The film premiered at the 74th Berlin International Film Festival in February 2024. It was also selected for the MAMI Mumbai Film Festival 2024, where it competed in the South Asia Competition section and won the Special Jury Prize. [4]
The Filmfare Best Villain Award was given by Filmfare as part of its annual Filmfare Awards for Hindi films, to recognise an actor who had delivered an outstanding performance in a negative role. Although the awards started in 1954, this category was first introduced in 1992 and has been marked as obsolete since 2007.

Tillotama Shome is an Indian actress. Known for her work in several independent film productions. In 2021, she won the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress for portraying a praiseworthy role of a house maid Ratna in the film Sir at the 66th Filmfare Awards.
Traffic is a 2016 Indian Hindi-language road thriller film directed by Rajesh Pillai. It is a remake of the 2011 Malayalam film of same name. Originally written by brothers Bobby and Sanjay, the film's screenplay has been adapted into Hindi by Suresh Nair, while the dialogues were written by Piyush Mishra.

Shiladitya Bora is an Indian film producer, director, marketer and distributor. He is the founder of Platoon One Films, a Mumbai-based film production studio. Bora was born and brought up in Assam and completed his undergraduate and post-graduate studies in Ahmedabad. He started his film career by spearheading the indie release banner PVR Pictures' Directors' Rare, a limited release arm of India's biggest film exhibitor, PVR Cinemas group. Under this banner, he successfully released more than 85 independent films. In 2015, Bora was recognised for his work in marketing and distribution and was selected as one of the Berlinale Talents of the year. As the first CEO of Drishyam Films, Bora served as an Associate Producer on critically acclaimed films like Masaan (2015) and Newton (2017). He helped develop Newton from a one-line pitch to a story and greenlit the film to production. Newton went on to be selected as India's official entry for the 90th Academy Awards. In 2017, Bora founded Platoon One Films, a Mumbai based production studio with his wife and costume designer Shilpi Agarwal. Platoon One Films' maiden Hindi production Yours Truly, directed by Sanjoy Nag, starring Soni Razdan, Pankaj Tripathi and Aahana Kumra, premiered at the Busan International Film Festival 2018 and travelled to many festivals worldwide. Platoon One Films then went on to produce the National Award-Winning Marathi film Picasso, directed by Abhijeet Warang and starring Prasad Oak. He is also the producer for 2023 Indian Marathi-language thriller drama, Ghaath which was nominated to compete for the Panorama Audience Award and GWFF Best First Feature Award at the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival.
Bhonsle is a 2018 Indian Hindi-language drama film written and directed by Devashish Makhija and co-produced by Piiyush Singh, The film stars Manoj Bajpayee in the title role: a retired Mumbai police officer who befriends a North Indian girl and her brother who are targeted among other migrants by local politicians. Its first look was launched at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival.

Deep6 is a 2021 Indian Bengali drama film written and directed by Madhuja Mukherjee. The film, produced under the banner of Rising Sun Pvt Ltd production and Editfx Studios, stars Tillotama Shome, Chandan Roy Sanyal and Maya Ghosh, with pivotal roles by Sumanta Mukherjee, Soumitra Chatterjee and Sumeet Thakur. It premiered under the "A Window on Asian Cinema" section at 26th Busan International Film Festival on 7 October 2021 and was also screened in 'Indian Cinema Now' section at 26th International Film Festival of Kerala.
The 54th International Film Festival of India opened on 20 November 2023 with Catching Dust by Stuart Gatt in Goa. Shekhar Kapur an Indian filmmaker served as chairperson of the international jury. This year a new award category Best Web Series Award was introduced in the festival. 32 entries in 10 languages from 15 Over-the-top media service platforms were selected to compete for this award.

It was selected in the Competition at the 74th Berlin International Film Festival, where it competed for the Golden Bear.
