The First Conspiracy is an album by The (International) Noise Conspiracy. It is a compilation of four 7" records that were released in Europe earlier that year. It was first released on International Workers' Day in 1999 on the record label G7 Welcoming Committee. In 2002, it was re-released with new cover art on Burning Heart Records. The record serves as a compilation of the first recordings by the band and acts as a framework for the ideas and musical themes that would become more fully formed on their debut album the following year, Survival Sickness .

Hidden Treasures is a compilation EP by American thrash metal band Megadeth, released on July 18, 1995, via Capitol Records. The album features songs that originally appeared on film soundtracks and tribute albums. Four of the tracks were released as singles, and three have received Grammy Award nominations for Best Metal Performance. Despite having garnered mediocre or negative reviews, the material on the EP has been credited with helping expand the group's MTV audience in the early 1990s.

The (International) Noise Conspiracy was a Swedish rock band formed in late 1998. The lineup consisted of Dennis Lyxzén (vocals), Inge Johansson (bass), Lars Strömberg (guitar), and Ludwig Dahlberg (drums). The band was known for its punk and garage rock influences, along with its passionate left-wing political stance. Until 2004, guitarist/organist/keyboardist Sara Almgren was also part of the group. Dennis Lyxzén formed The (I)NC shortly after the breakup of his previous band, Refused. The (I)NC drew on the musical roots of at least four other bands, including Totalt Jävla Mörker (Johansson), Separation (Strömberg), Saidiwas, and Doughnuts (Almgren). In 2007, Inge Johansson also played with the band The Most.
