The Flower Pot Gang were an Australian children's entertainment act formed in 1996 by Phillip 'Phil' Barton on guitar and vocals, Kristy Gentz on vocals and Benjamin 'Ben' O'Hara on drums and vocals. [1] [2] Their albums Happy Little Flower Pots (1997) and Flower Pot Gang (1999) were nominated for the ARIA Award for Best Children's Album in 1998 and 2000, respectively. [3] The group disbanded in 2000. Barton co-wrote the song, "A Woman Like You" (2011), which was recorded by American country music artist, Lee Brice; and "Cowboys Duty" (2015), which was performed by Aron Leigh for the feature film, Sicario . Angus & Julia Stone are an Australian folk and indie pop group, formed in 2006 by brother and sister Angus and Julia Stone. "Tell Me Why" is a song by British girl group, the Spice Girls, appearing as the second track on their third studio album Forever (2000). The song was written by Victoria Beckham, Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, Rodney Jerkins, LaShawn Daniels, Fred Jerkins III and Mischke Butler. Jerkins and Daniels produced the song. It was released as a promotional single in December 2000. Originally planned as the second single from Forever, the release was scrapped.
Andrew Speight Quartet is a self-titled studio album by an Australian jazz group, led by Andrew Speight, which was released in October 1998. The line-up was Speight on alto saxophone, Andrew Dickeson on drums, John Harkins on piano and David Rosin on bass guitar. At the ARIA Music Awards of 1999 it won Best Jazz Album.
