The Game is the fourth studio album by American rapper Richie Rich, released September 12, 2000, on Ten-Six Records. It peaked at number 53 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and at number 10 on the Billboard Independent Albums. [3] Two singles were released, "I Ain't Gonna Do" and "If...". No music videos were released to promote the album.

Conception

Richie Rich left Def Jam and released this album on his own independent label, Ten-Six Records (created with Lev Berlak), yet most of the material was recorded while he was still on Def Jam.

Jackson's career began when he was a senior in high school and ended up rapping live on American record producer and music executive DJ Clue's radio show, then on Hot 97. Jackson was subsequently signed by DJ Clue to his label Desert Storm, and later secured a distribution deal with Elektra Records. Fabolous' first release, Ghetto Fabolous (2001), spawned the hit singles "Can't Deny It" and "Young'n ", which led Jackson to prominence. His second release was 2003's Street Dreams, which was supported by two Top 10 singles "Can't Let You Go" and "Into You".

Worth tha Weight is the debut solo studio album by American rapper Shawnna. Originally scheduled to be released in 2002, it was delayed until 2004 and was released on September 28, 2004 via Disturbing tha Peace/Def Jam Recordings. Production was handled by several record producers, including B-Crucial, Just Blaze, Kanye West, Bangladesh, DJ Nasty & LVM, and Shawnna's brother Michael Antonio "Icedrake" Guy. It features guest appearances from Ludacris, Jermaine Dupri, Kardinal Offishall, Katt Williams, Missy Elliott, Noreaga, Rich Nice and Twista. The album peaked at number 22 on the Billboard 200 and, to date, has sold 380,000 copies to date in the U.S.

"I Can't Live Without My Radio" is the lead single from LL Cool J's debut album, Radio. It was released in 1985 for Def Jam Recordings and was both written and produced by LL Cool J and Rick Rubin. It is a love song to the boombox. The song found modest success, making it to #15 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks. "I Can't Live Without My Radio" was released with the follow-up single "I Can Give You More". It is the first Def Jam single distributed through Columbia Records.

I Aint No Joke

"I Ain't No Joke" is a song by rap duo Eric B. & Rakim, released as the second single from their debut studio album Paid in Full. It peaked at number thirty-eight on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks. Described as one of the album's "monumental singles", Michael Di Bella wrote in the All Music Guide to Rock that "Rakim grabs the listener by the throat and illustrates his mastery of the rhyming craft". A music video was made for it, featuring dancing from Flavor Flav of the group Public Enemy. The song was selected by Jay-Z for the NBA 2K13 soundtrack. It was also featured in the video game Saints Row.
