The seventh series of The Great British Sewing Bee began on 14 April 2021. [1] Joe Lycett returned as the presenter of the show, with both Esme Young and Patrick Grant returning as the judges. [2] The series consisted of 12 contestants competing to be named the best sewer. [3] The show aired on BBC One and was filmed during the COVID-19 pandemic. [4] The series was filmed at The Chainstore on Trinity Buoy Wharf in London's Docklands, a grade II listed building, built in 1854, and connected to London's only lighthouse. [5]

Patrick James Grant is a Scottish clothier, businessman, television personality and author who is currently the director of Community Clothing and textile manufacturer Cookson & Clegg. He is the former director of bespoke tailors Norton & Sons of Savile Row and E. Tautz & Sons clothing line. Since 2013, he has been a judge on the BBC One reality series The Great British Sewing Bee.

The Great British Sewing Bee is a BBC reality show that began airing on BBC Two on 2 April 2013. In the show, talented amateur sewers compete to be named "Britain's best home sewer". A spin-off of the format of The Great British Bake Off, the programme was presented by Claudia Winkleman for the first four series, with judges Patrick Grant, May Martin, and Esme Young. After a three-year hiatus, the series returned in 2019, with Joe Lycett taking over as presenter. The sixth series began airing on BBC One in April 2020 and the seventh began airing in April 2021. Sara Pascoe took over as presenter from series 8, which began airing in April 2022. Kiell Smith-Bynoe took over presenting series 10 in May 2024. Since 2022 Sunny Bank Mills in Farsley, West Yorkshire has served as the new filming location for series 8 onwards of The Great British Sewing Bee.

The first series of The Great British Sewing Bee started on 2 April and aired for four episodes concluding on 23 April 2013. The series was hosted by Claudia Winkleman and the judges were May Martin and Patrick Grant of Savile Row.

<i>The Great British Bake Off</i> series 11 Eleventh series of The Great British Bake Off

The eleventh series of The Great British Bake Off began on 22 September 2020. It was presented by returning host Noel Fielding and new host Matt Lucas, who replaced Sandi Toksvig, and was judged by returning judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith. The first three episodes were extended to 90 minutes instead of the usual 75 minutes. The bakers were announced on 15 September 2020.

The eighth series of The Great British Sewing Bee began on 27 April 2022. Sara Pascoe replaced Joe Lycett as the presenter of the show, with both Esme Young and Patrick Grant returning as judges. This series saw the programme moving out of London, it being filmed in a former textile mill called the Sunny Bank Mills, located in Farsley, Leeds. For the first time ever, there were 4 finalists in the final.

All That Glitters: Britain's Next Jewellery Star is a BBC reality show that began airing on BBC Two on 13 April 2021. In the show, jewellers compete to be named "Britain's Next Jewellery Star". A spin-off of the format of The Great British Bake Off, the programme is presented by Katherine Ryan, with judges Shaun Leane and Solange Azagury-Partridge and Dinny Hall. The second series began airing on BBC Two in August 2022. It was confirmed in April 2023, that a third season would not be commissioned and the series was axed by the BBC.

The ninth series of The Great British Sewing Bee began on 24 May 2023 on BBC One. As with series 8, Sara Pascoe hosts, with Esme Young and Patrick Grant returning as judges. There were 12 contestants in season 9.

The tenth series of The Great British Sewing Bee began on 21 May 2024 on BBC One. Kiell Smith-Bynoe is the new host of the series, with Esme Young and Patrick Grant returning as judges. The series was again filmed at Sunny Bank Mills, a 19th-century woollen mill located just outside Leeds. Smith-Bynoe has appeared on the show before as a contestant in the 2021 Christmas Special. In this series there are 12 contestants.
