The Guns of Muschu is an upcoming film to be directed by Matthew Holmes from a screenplay by Tom Broadhurst and Jack Brislee. [1] [2] [3] The film, an adaptation of the novel of the same name, will star Australian actor Ben Hall in the leading role of Mick Dennis.

Development

The development of the film was announced in April 2024, [4] with plans to shoot the movie in Far North Queensland.

The Guns of Muschu is a 2006 novel by Australian author Don Dennis based on the diary of Sapper Mick Dennis, who was the sole survivor of Operation Copper, a daring raid on the Japanese occupied island of Muschu in 1945 which was carried out by members of the Z Special Unit during World War II.
