The Henry Stickmin Collection is a 2D point-and-click puzzle adventure video game developed by PuffballsUnited and published by Innersloth. The game has been widely described as having many pop culture and meme references. [3] [4] [5]
The game consists out of six different episodes, in each of which the player controls Henry Stickmin, making various decisions for the character that impact the further events of the game. [6] [7] Some decisions require quick action - to choose an option within a short amount of time. The actions of the player eventually lead to a certain ending for each episode. [3]
First games of the Henry Stickmin series were developed by Marcus Bromander (also known as PuffballsUnited). Marcus published his flash-games about Henry Stickmin on Stickpage and Newgrounds in 2008. [8] [9] In total, 6 games were published - Breaking the Bank (2008), Escaping the Prison(2010), Stealing the Diamond (2011), Infiltrating the Airship (2013), Fleeing the Complex(2015) and Completing the Mission (2020). [10] Of six games, first five were developed originally as a flash-game, with the last episode Completing the Mission being presented only in the Collection release. [3] The Henry Stickmin Collection was published on August 7, 2020 and was described as one of the best games of its year. [11] [12]
Later, another Innersloth's game - Among Us - featured an Airship map that is similar to the location from one of Henry Stickmin's episodes - Infiltrating the Airship. [10] [13]
