Liberty X were a British-Irish group originally consisting of Michelle Heaton, Tony Lundon, Kevin Simm, Jessica Taylor and Kelli Young.
Harry "The Hipster" Gibson, born Harry Raab, was a jazz pianist, singer, and songwriter. Gibson played New York style stride piano and boogie woogie while singing in a wild, unrestrained style. His music career began in the late 1920s, when under his real name, he played stride piano in Dixieland jazz bands in Harlem. He continued to perform there throughout the 1930s, adding the barrelhouse boogie of the time to his repertoire.
Deacon Blue are a Scottish pop rock band formed in Glasgow during 1985. The line-up of the band consists of vocalists Ricky Ross and Lorraine McIntosh, keyboard player James Prime and drummer Dougie Vipond. The band released their debut album, Raintown, on 1 May 1987 in the United Kingdom and in the United States in February 1988. Their second album, When the World Knows Your Name (1989), topped the UK Albums Chart for two weeks, and included "Real Gone Kid" which became their first top ten single in the UK Singles Chart and reached number one in Spain.
Blue are an English boy band consisting of members Antony Costa, Duncan James, Lee Ryan and Simon Webbe. The group originally formed in 2000 and has released three studio albums, All Rise (2001), One Love (2002) and Guilty (2003) that all peaked at number one in the United Kingdom alongside releasing 16 singles, over a four-year period. The group also worked alongside artists such as Stevie Wonder, Elton John and Lil' Kim. In late 2004, the group announced a hiatus and released their first compilation album, Best of Blue, on 15 November 2004.
Benjamin Paul Ballance-Drew, better known by his stage name Plan B, is an English rapper, singer, songwriter, actor, film director and producer. He first emerged as a rapper, releasing his debut album, Who Needs Actions When You Got Words, in 2006. His second studio album, The Defamation of Strickland Banks (2010), was a soul and R&B album, and debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart. He has also collaborated with other artists such as Chase & Status, most notably on the 2009 top ten single "End Credits".
Lorraine McIntosh is a Scottish singer, vocalist with Scottish band Deacon Blue, and actress.
"Mad About the Boy" is a popular song with words and music by actor and playwright Noël Coward. It was introduced in the 1932 revue Words and Music by Joyce Barbour, Steffi Duna, Norah Howard and Doris Hare. The song deals with the theme of unrequited love for a film star. It was written to be sung by female characters, although Coward also wrote a version which was never performed, containing references to the then-risqué topic of homosexual love. The song gained new popularity in 1992 when Dinah Washington's rendition was used in the Levi's television advertisement "Swimmer", directed by Tarsem Singh.
Richard Alexander "Ricky" Ross is a Scottish singer-songwriter and broadcaster who is the current lead singer of the rock band Deacon Blue. Alongside his discography with Deacon Blue, Ross has released a number of solo albums, his first, So Long Ago was released in 1984.

William Beckett is an American musician who first became known for his work with the now-defunct Chicago-based band The Academy Is... (TAI), who were signed to Atlantic Records/Fueled by Ramen/Decaydance Records. While still in high school in 2002, Beckett and guitarist Mike Carden came together from rival bands in Chicago to form The Academy Is... In addition to founding the band, Beckett and Carden are credited as the primary songwriters. A third core member of the band was Adam T. Siska, Beckett's classmate and friend from Barrington High School.

"On and On" was released in the UK in May, 2010. The song was re-released in the Netherlands on May 24, 2010 as the UK edit.
The King Blues are a British punk rock band from London, England, credited for fusing punk and hip hop together with influences from ska and spoken word. Tariq Ali described the band's sounds as "rough, radical music that should unsettle the rulers of this country. A new generation of musicians are challenging war-monger politicians and their courtiers". Influences include Public Enemy, The Clash and The Specials. Lead singer Jonny "Itch" Fox describes the band's sound as 'rebel street music.'
JLS are an English boy band, which consists of members Aston Merrygold, Oritsé Williams, Marvin Humes, and JB Gill, originally formed by Williams. They initially signed to Tracklacers production company New Track City and then went on to become runners-up of the fifth series of the ITV reality talent show The X Factor in 2008, coming second to Alexandra Burke. Following their appearance on The X Factor, JLS signed to Epic Records. Their first two singles "Beat Again" and "Everybody in Love" both went to number one on the UK Singles Chart.

The track was released in the United Kingdom on 25 March 2012 as the lead single from the soundtrack to Ill Manors, a film written and directed by Plan B. The song was written in reaction to the 2011 riots across England, and specifically Plan B's perception of "society's failure to nurture its disadvantaged youth".

Perfect Velvet is the second studio album by South Korean girl group Red Velvet. Released on November 17, 2017, by SM Entertainment, the album is the group's first full-length release in two years since The Red (2015). A record that incorporates R&B, soul and hip-hop, with influences from future bass, trap and synth-pop, Perfect Velvet saw contribution from various songwriters and production teams, namely Kenzie, The Stereotypes, Charli Taft, Daniel "Obi" Klein, Jam Factory and Hitchhiker, among others. RBB is the fifth extended play and the eighth overall by South Korean girl group Red Velvet. The six-track EP was released on November 30, 2018 by SM Entertainment with iriver serving as the South Korean distributor. With SM founder Lee Soo-man serving as the release's executive producer, RBB enlisted numerous songwriters and producers, such as Kenzie, Timothy 'Bos' Bullock, Sara Forsberg, MZMC, Harvey Mason Jr., Patrick 'J. Que' Smith, Dewain Whitmore Jr., Britt Burton, Yoo Young-jin, production duo LDN Noise, Deez, Ellen Berg Tollbom, rapper-songwriter Penomeco, Dem Jointz, Moonshine, and others for the makings of the extended play. Musically, the EP consists of five new original tracks which varied in different genres, mostly R&B, hip-hop and dance-pop, which became the group's third major release to focus on their "Velvet" sonic concept, following their second studio album Perfect Velvet and its repackage The Perfect Red Velvet.
