University of Scholars or The InternationalUniversity of Scholars, also known as IUS, is a private university based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. In 2024 This University got approved from UGC to changed it official name from The International University of Scholars to University of Scholars [3]

Contents

History

University of Scholars, was established in 2015 at Badda with five departments. [4] The government provided permission to the university on 11 January 2016; the request was filled by Jamil Habib. [5] According to the New Age report on 4 August 2022 the university only had only one full professor. [6]

It has issued its first calls for admission in December, 2016. Then in 2018, the first batch of BSc in Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering classes started. Two more program classes started in 2019. LLB in Maritime Law and BBA in Port Management and Logistics. 2020 BSc in Maritime Fisheries first batch admission and classes start.
