The Living Dead is the nineteenth studio album by German heavy metal band Grave Digger, released on 14 September 2018 by Napalm Records. [1] [2] It is the last album to feature drummer Stefan Arnold as he departed the band in June 2018. [3]

Release and promotion

On 6 June 2018, Grave Digger announced its nineteenth album, The Living Dead, with a European tour in January and February 2019. [4] In the months between the album's announcement and release, the band uploaded music videos for the songs "Fear of the Living Dead", [5] "Zombie Dance" (featuring Russkaja), [6] and "The Power of Metal". [7] The 2019 tour includes a show at Tufnell Park Dome in London with Burning Witches. [8]

The album continues the band's story of the Crusaders, first explored in their 1998 album Knights of the Cross. It is the last album to feature guitarist Axel Ritt as he departed the band on 10 September 2023. He was replaced with former Orden Ogan guitarist Tobias Kersting.

Bone Collector is the twenty-second studio album by German heavy metal band Grave Digger, released on 17 January 2025 by Napalm Records, in celebration of the band's 45th anniversary. A music video for the single "Kingdom of Skulls" was released on 11 October 2024, along with "The Devils Serenade" on 20 December 2024 and the title track on the day of the album's release. The album has received positive reviews from critics.
