The NewReview gave the album a perfect 5 out of 5 and states "Quite simply, this is a record steeped in heart-racing psychedelic, bleak melodies, and wound together by an aching atmosphere and captivating concept, which proves The Marriage of Heaven and Hell to be the group's most impressive outing yet." Sound In The Signals Magazine also gave the album a positive review stating:
"Overall, I'd say this is a good release from a genre that has been bled dry with copycats and dull ideas. Not the most original album you'll hear this year, but a fine addition to your metal library if you like this kind of thing. It should fit well between Norma Jean's O God, the Aftermath and The Chariot Wars and Rumors of Wars ." [2]
Jesusfreakhideout.com gave the album 4 stars out of 5, praising the band's "more mature and complete sound"; also stating that "the [general] song structure is more chaotic and dissonant, which is exactly where this band should be musically". Not Ashamed is the fourth studio album by Australian CCM band Newsboys, released in 1992. The album was the Newsboys' first commercially successful album, with "I'm Not Ashamed" becoming a hit on Christian radio. With this album, producer Steve Taylor started co-writing many of the band's songs with Peter Furler, who also began sharing lead vocals duties with then-primary vocalist John James.

Their final release, The Life & Death of A Plea for Purging, reached No. 24 on the US Billboard Rock Albums chart and No. 11 on the Heatseekers chart. Guitarist Blake Martin played on Project 86's record, Wait for the Siren and was a touring member for Haste the Day. Drummer Aaron Eckermann was a touring musician for Corpus Christi. Vocalist Andy Atkins was featured on The Crimson Armada's song "Composed of Stone", from their album Conviction.

To Plant a Seed is the debut studio album by We Came as Romans. It was released by Equal Vision Records on November 3, 2009 and was produced by Joey Sturgis. Artwork for the album was done by Paul Romano to which coincides to We Came as Romans' positive message as explained by guitarist Joshua Moore that the lyrical themes on To Plant a Seed are based-up spreading this message. A deluxe edition of the album was released on January 18, 2011 which includes one bonus track and a DVD entitled To Plant a DVD.

The Flood is the second studio album by American rock band Of Mice & Men. It was released on June 14, 2011 through Rise Records and was produced by Joey Sturgis. On May 13, 2011, they released the song "Still YDG'N". The album was leaked onto the internet on June 10, 2011, with Rise Records countering the leak by uploading the album on to their YouTube page four days before the release. The album debuted at number 28 on the Billboard 200, selling over 13,000 copies in its first week, making it one of Rise Records' best-selling releases at the time. It is also the first album to feature rhythm guitarist Alan Ashby, as well as the last release to feature bassist and clean vocalist Shayley Bourget. It marks a considerably heavier, technical musical approach from the band, and a stronger use of clean vocals from Bourget, having him lead three songs on the album.
