David Marvin Blake, better known by his stage name DJ Quik, is an American rapper, songwriter, DJ and record producer, known for his production in the G-funk style of West Coast hip-hop. Blake has collaborated with Snoop Dogg, Kurupt, 2Pac, Erick Sermon, Shaquille O'Neal, among others. Blake's stage name reflects his ability to produce songs in a short period of time. Some of his top songs include "Dollaz + Sense", "Tonite", "Born and Raised in Compton" and "Jus Lyke Compton".
Lloyd Polite Jr., better known by his mononym Lloyd, is an American singer, songwriter, and dancer. Lloyd began his career in music as a member of the preteen-boy band N-Toon. The group disbanded in 2001 and Lloyd embarked on a solo career in 2003. He subsequently signed a recording contract with Murder Inc. Records and Def Jam Recordings. In 2004, Lloyd released his solo debut single "Southside", the title track of his debut album, Southside. Still, Nastradamus featured two charting singles, "You Owe Me", "Nastradamus" and was certified platinum.
