The Wind is the twelfth and final studio album by American singer-songwriter Warren Zevon. The album was released on August 26, 2003, by Artemis Records. Zevon began recording the album shortly after he was diagnosed with inoperable pleural mesothelioma, and it was released just two weeks before his death on September 7, 2003. See You in Magic is the debut album by the San Diego, California rock band The Night Marchers, released in 2008 by Vagrant Records and Swami Records. The Night Marchers are the latest musical project of singer/guitarist John Reis, previously of Pitchfork, Drive Like Jehu, Rocket from the Crypt, the Hot Snakes, and the Sultans. Reis announced the group's formation in August 2007, after all of his previous acts had broken up by January of that year. The band also includes Beehive and the Barracudas guitarist Gar Wood, CPC Gangbangs bassist Tommy Kitsos, and former Delta 72 drummer Jason Kourkounis. Wood and Kourkounis had previously recorded and performed with Reis in the Hot Snakes. The band members are credited on the album using pseudonyms that they had used in their previous acts: Reis is credited as "Speedo", Wood as "Dner", Kitsos as "Skitsos", and Kourkounis as "Jsinclair".

"Really Love You" is a song written by Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr—their first-ever shared credit—and originally released on McCartney's 1997 album Flaming Pie. In 2005, a reworked version was released as a limited edition 12" vinyl, from the album Twin Freaks.

"America at Night" is a song by English rock band Creeper. Written by lead vocalist Will Gould with producer Xandy Barry of Wax Ltd, it is featured on the group's 2021 sixth EP American Noir. The track was released as the second single from the EP on 9 July 2021. Originally intended to serve as the opening track on 2020's Sex, Death & the Infinite Void, "America at Night" features co-lead vocals by keyboardist Hannah Greenwood, and drums by session contributor Kiel Feher.
