The Revenge of the Fifth is the fifth studio album by Canadian skate punk band Belvedere, released April 30, 2016. It is their first full-length release since 2004's Fast Forward Eats the Tape . The album was recorded by Casey Lewis at Echo Base Studio in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It was mixed by Andrew Berlin and mastered by Jason Livermore at the Blasting Room in Fort Collins, Colorado. It is the first album to feature Casey Lewis on drums, replacing Graham Churchill due to conflicting commitments outside the band.

Wire are an English rock band, formed in London in October 1976 by Colin Newman, Graham Lewis, Bruce Gilbert (guitar) and Robert Grey (drums). They were originally associated with the punk rock scene, appearing on The Roxy London WC2 album, and were later central to the development of post-punk, while their debut album Pink Flag was influential for hardcore punk.

The Ataris American pop punk and alternative rock band

The Ataris are an American rock band from Anderson, Indiana. Formed in 1996, they released five studio albums between 1997 and 2007. Voivod (band) Canadian heavy metal band

Voivod is a Canadian heavy metal band from Jonquière, Quebec. The band's current line-up consists of Denis "Snake" Bélanger (vocals), Daniel "Chewy" Mongrain (guitar), Dominic "Rocky" Laroche (bass) and Michel "Away" Langevin (drums). Their musical style has changed several times since the band's origin in the early 1980s. Starting out as a speed metal band, Voivod have added a mix of progressive metal and thrash metal to create their own unique metal style, and they are credited as one of the "big four" Canadian thrash metal bands, along with Sacrifice, Razor, and Annihilator.

The Orange County Supertones were a Christian ska band from Orange County, California. The band was signed to Tooth & Nail Records and its imprint, BEC Recordings, before becoming an independent band. The band temporarily disbanded in 2005, though reunited in 2010 to resume touring and recording before permanently disbanding in 2017. The OC Supertones were one of the first widely successful Christian ska bands.

Ensiferum is a Finnish folk metal band from Helsinki. The members of the band label themselves as "melodic folk metal."

Belvedere is a Canadian punk rock band from Calgary and Edmonton, Canada formed in 1995.

D.I. is an American punk rock band formed in 1981 in Fullerton, California. It was founded by vocalist and primary songwriter Casey Royer, after previously playing drums in the bands Adolescents and Social Distortion.

Melodic hardcore

Melodic hardcore is a broadly defined subgenre of hardcore punk with a strong emphasis on melody in its guitar work. It generally incorporates fast rhythms, melodic and often distorted guitar riffs, and vocal styles tending towards shouting and screaming. Nevertheless, the genre has been very diverse, with different bands showcasing very different styles. Many pioneering melodic hardcore bands, have proven influential across the spectrum of punk rock, as well as rock music more generally. The term "melodic punk" is often used to describe both melodic hardcore and skate punk bands.

Mayday Parade

Mayday Parade is an American rock band from Tallahassee, Florida. Their debut EP Tales Told by Dead Friends was released in 2006, and sold over 50,000 copies without any label support. In July 2007, Mayday Parade released their debut album A Lesson in Romantics. After signing to Fearless in 2006, the band also signed onto a major label with Atlantic in 2009. Their second studio album, Anywhere but Here was released in October 2009 and their third album, entitled Mayday Parade, was released in October 2011. Mayday Parade's fourth album, titled Monsters in the Closet, was released in October 2013. Their fifth album, titled Black Lines, was released October 2015. In April 2018, the band signed to Rise Records and released their sixth studio album Sunnyland on June 15, 2018.

Foxy Shazam

Foxy Shazam is an American rock band from Cincinnati, Ohio formed in 2004. As of 2020, the band's lineup consists of lead vocalist Eric Nally, pianist Sky White, trumpeter and backing vocalist Alex Nauth, bassist Trigger Warning, and drummer Teddy Aitkins. The band released their debut album The Flamingo Trigger independently in 2005 before signing with Ferret Music, under which they released their second album Introducing Foxy Shazam in 2008. The following year, the band recorded its first major label record with producer John Feldmann. Foxy Shazam signed with Sire Records and released its self-titled major-label debut in 2010. The band's fourth studio album, The Church of Rock and Roll, was released in January 2012. Gonzo, the band's fifth album, was released April 2, 2014.

White Lung

White Lung are a Canadian punk rock band. The band consists of Mish Barber-Way (vocals), Kenneth William (guitars) and Anne-Marie Vassiliou (drums). They have released two albums on Deranged Records and their latest two on Domino Recording Company. Exclaim! named the band's first full-length album It's the Evil as 2010's punk album of the year. The band was nominated for Punk/Hardcore Artist/Group of the Year at the 2011 Canadian Music Week Indie Awards.

Stolas was an American post-hardcore band from Las Vegas, Nevada formed in 2011. The band consisted of Carlo Marquez, and Sergio Medina. The band was signed as the first band on Blue Swan Records in 2013, a record label launched by Will Swan of Dance Gavin Dance. They have released one EP, Losing Wings (2012) and three studio albums, Living Creatures (2013), Allomaternal (2014), and Stolas (2017). The group signed to Equal Vision Records in 2016.

Protomartyr is an American rock band formed in Detroit, Michigan, in 2010. The band consists of Joe Casey (vocals), Greg Ahee (guitar), Alex Leonard (drums), and Scott Davidson (bass).

<i>Blissfucker</i> 2014 studio album by Trap Them

Blissfucker is the fourth studio album by the American grindcore/crust punk band Trap Them. It was released on June 10, 2014. It is the first album to feature their new bassist, Galen Baudhuin, and drummer Brad Fickeisen. Like their 2011 release, Darker Handcraft, it will also be released on Prosthetic Records. At 5:30 of the track "Let Fall Each and Every Sedition Symptom," is a hidden track, a re-recording of Insomniawesome, from their first album, Sleepwell Deconstructor.

<i>Trans Day of Revenge</i> 2016 EP by G.L.O.S.S.

Trans Day of Revenge is the second and final extended play of Olympia, Washington-based punk group G.L.O.S.S.. The album, produced by Joey Seward, was released a day after the 2016 Orlando nightclub shooting, by the Total Negativity, Nervous Nelly, PANSY TWIST distro and Sabatoge labels. The album was noted by many music journalists as "necessary" and "essential" due to its message; the political views expressed are against pacifism, with regard to issues such as state violence, transphobia and respectability politics.

Hellions is an Australian punk rock band from Sydney, formed in 2013 after the break up of The Bride, in which drummer Anthony Caruso, bassist turned vocalist Dre Faivre and guitarist/vocalist Matt Gravolin continued under a different moniker. They have released four studio albums; their third, Opera Oblivia, was nominated for the 2016 ARIA Award for Best Hard Rock/Heavy Metal Album. Rue their fourth studio album was released on 19 October 2018 via UNFD.
