Tiamat is a Swedish band that formed in Stockholm in 1987 and led by Johan Edlund. The band went through a number of stylistic changes, usually leaning toward gothic metal.
Thunder and Lightning is the twelfth and final studio album by Irish hard rock band Thin Lizzy, released in 1983. Guitarist John Sykes was hired to replace Snowy White after 1981's Renegade, and Sykes helped to provide a heavier sound and guitar tone than Thin Lizzy had used on previous albums. However, the bulk of the songwriting was completed before he joined the band. Keyboard player Darren Wharton also offered a stronger musical influence to Thin Lizzy's final studio album, co-writing many of the tracks including "Some Day She Is Going to Hit Back", and the final single "The Sun Goes Down". A farewell tour followed the album's release, followed by the live album Life. The group's co-founder, frontman and bass player Phil Lynott died in 1986.
Wildhoney is the fourth studio album from Swedish music group Tiamat. The album was produced by Waldemar Sorychta and released by Century Media records in 1994. Vocalist Johan Edlund and John Hagel were the only two remaining members of Tiamat who were still with the group after their previous album Clouds in 1992. The album was marked a strong change in the style of Tiamat's music with more progressive rock- and psychedelic music-influenced music and a less death metal-oriented style. The music on the album deals with the occult, nature, and LSD.
A Deeper Kind of Slumber is the fifth studio album from Swedish band Tiamat. Featuring female background vocals by Birgit Zacher and experimentation with a variety of influences, the album marked the group's first complete withdrawal from both death metal and conventional heavy metal, following their 1994 release, Wildhoney. It was also the first production after their relocation to Germany, and was written almost entirely by founder/lead songwriter Johan Edlund. Much of the music had reflected on Edlund's personal relationship with drugs, creative differences within the band as well as an interpersonal relationship.
Feline is the seventh studio album by the Stranglers and was released on 22 January 1983 on the Epic record label, their first for the label. The first edition came with a free one-sided 7" single "Aural Sculpture Manifesto". Feline drew heavily on two of the dominant musical influences in Europe of the time, by using primarily acoustic guitars and electronic drums as well as Dave Greenfield's synthesizers. The American edition of the album included the British hit single "Golden Brown" as the closing track on side one of the original vinyl.
Sacrifice is the twelfth solo studio album by English musician Gary Numan, released in October 1994 by Numa Records. Its release is often cited as marking the start of a critical and artistic rejuvenation for Numan. The album was released in the US in 1997 with a different title, Dawn, based on the comic book character Dawn. It also carried cover art by Joseph Michael Linsner.

High Visibility is an album released by the Swedish rock band The Hellacopters and the first studio album to feature the new guitarist Robert Dahlqvist. The album was released on both CD and vinyl; the first vinyl release featured the music on three sides and an etching of the band's logo on the fourth, the second was a 2×180g issue but without the etching. Both versions also contained the bonus track "No Dogs". There was also a limited edition from Gearhead Records on red vinyl without the bonus track. The Japanese version of the CD also features "A Cross for Cain" as a bonus track.
Memorial is the seventh studio album by Portuguese gothic metal band Moonspell, released on 24 April 2006 by SPV/Steamhammer. The album is available in three versions: a standard edition, a Portugal exclusive with the "Phantom North" bonus track, and a limited digipak edition with the "Atlantic" bonus track.
"Hearts on Fire" is a song by Swedish heavy metal band HammerFall released as their single on 30 September 2002. It was the only single released from their fourth studio album, Crimson Thunder. It ranked 11th in the Swedish charts and 58th in Germany.
Judas Christ is the seventh studio album from gothic band Tiamat. The album embraced love themes and was less successful.
Scenarios of Violence is a compilation album by German thrash metal band Kreator, released in 1996 through Noise Records. The collection features two previously unreleased songs. Tracks 2, 4, 6, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15 and 16 are remixed by Siggi Bemm & Mille Petrozza. Tracks 3, 8, 9, 10 and 12 are digitally remastered by Siggi Bemm. The live tracks were recorded at the Dynamo club, Eindhoven, Netherlands in 1988.

Real to Reel is a studio album by hard rock band Tesla. Released on June 5, 2007, it includes covers of classic rock songs from the late 1960s and early 1970s recorded by Tesla in their own style using analog tape and vintage equipment. Best Buy included a limited, exclusive Bonus CD with the purchase of "Real to Reel". This Bonus CD includes 4 songs, "War Pigs" from Reel Two, and unplugged versions of "Shine Away", "Modern Day Cowboy" and "Paradise".
Amanethes is the ninth studio album by Swedish gothic metal band Tiamat. It was released on May 2, 2008. The album was more positively received than Tiamat's previous releases, in part because of its return to their earlier metal sound in a few songs, while keeping the gothic rock in other songs.
Tomorrowland is the third album by the Australian power metal band Black Majesty. A Limited Special Edition was also released which included two bonus tracks, a poster, a sticker, additional photos and personal liner notes by the band. Copies of this edition were limited to 4,000 copies worldwide.
Black Sails at Midnight is the second studio album by Scottish heavy metal band Alestorm. As with their first album, all the drums tracks were recorded by session drummer Migo Wagner but touring drummer Ian Wilson added additional percussion. The album features string and brass arrangements and folk instruments as opposed to the more heavy metal instrumentation of Captain Morgan's Revenge. The special edition of the album included a live DVD of the band's performance at the 2008 Wacken Festival.
"Plundered My Soul" is a song by the English rock band the Rolling Stones, featured as a bonus track on the 2010 re-release of their 1972 album Exile on Main St.. It was the first song released by the band from the new recordings, limited-edition copies of the single shelved in independent stores on 17 April 2010, in honor of Record Store Day. The song charted at number 2 on Billboard's Singles Sales and number 42 on Billboard's Rock Songs Airplay. It also reached number 15 in France, and remained there for one week. The music video was directed by Jonas Odell.
Fire It Up is the twenty-second and final studio album by Joe Cocker, released on 6 November 2012 by Sony/Columbia in Europe. It was recorded at Emblem Studios Calabasas, California and like Cocker's previous album, Hard Knocks, it was produced by Matt Serletic. The album was released as a regular jewel case edition as well as a premium edition with additional DVD.
Old Is New is the fourteenth and final studio album by the American rock band Toto, released as part of the band's All In box set on November 30, 2018, and separately on April 3, 2020. The tracks "Devil's Tower", "Spanish Sea" and "Oh Why" feature deceased band members Jeff and Mike Porcaro.
