8tv is a Malaysian Chinese-language free-to-air television network focused on the Chinese community of Malaysia.
NTV7 is a Malaysian free-to-air channel owned by Media Prima Berhad. The network focused on the Urban area with various types of programmes, dramas and news. As of October 2021, NTV7 is now become the second most-watched television station in Malaysia with about 15% of its viewing share, together with TV9, despite the declining viewership of 2 free-to-air television channels.
TV9 is a Malaysian free-to-air television network launched on 22 April 2006 as a subsidiary of Media Prima Berhad. It airs programming that tends mostly towards the Malay demographic. The channel formerly existed as Channel 9 from 9 September 2003 until 3 February 2005 due to financial difficulties faced by the operator. TV9 started broadcasting 24 hours a day on 6 May 2019.
Phua Chu Kang Sdn Bhd was a Malaysian sitcom and sequel to the Singaporean sitcom Phua Chu Kang Pte Ltd that debuted on Mediacorp Channel 5. The series reprises Gurmit Singh and Irene Ang as Phua Chu Kang and Rosie respectively, and is produced in collaboration with Mediacorp. This is the first time director James Lee leads Chinese drama series and a period drama genre. It was the highest rated drama series in 2008.
