The Son of Norma is the eleventh solo studio album by American hip hop recording artist SPM, and his fourth album release since the start of his 45-year incarceration in 2002. This 32-track double disc was recorded from prison and dropped on September 30, 2014, via Dope House Records. The second CD (tracks from 18 to 32) were chopped and screwed by DJ Rapid Ric.
The album peaked at number 61 on the US Billboard 200 chart.

Curtain Call: The Hits is the first greatest hits album by American rapper Eminem. It was released on December 6, 2005, under Aftermath Entertainment, Shady Records, and Interscope Records. The album collects Eminem's most popular singles, as well as four new songs, including a live version of "Stan", featuring English singer and songwriter Elton John from the 43rd Grammy Awards, plus the songs "Fack", "When I'm Gone" and "Shake That" featuring Nate Dogg.
The discography of Nas, an American rapper, consists of thirteen studio albums, two collaborative albums, five compilations, one extended play, and seventy-nine singles. The son of jazz musician Olu Dara, Nas dropped out of school during ninth grade and began his music career in 1991 with a guest performance on the song "Live at the Barbeque" by Main Source. In 1992, Nas featured on the MC Serch posse cut, “Back to the Grill”, alongside Chubb Rock and Red Hot Lover Tone, and later contributed the track, "Halftime" to the soundtrack to the film, Zebrahead. Soon Nas ignited enough hype and signed to Columbia Records, where he released his debut album Illmatic in 1994. Including Nas's solo debut track "Halftime", Illmatic was certified platinum in the US, spawned several singles including "It Ain't Hard to Tell" and "The World Is Yours", and earned much critical acclaim. With a more mainstream-oriented sound, Nas's second album It Was Written was released in 1996 and included the Lauryn Hill collaboration "If I Ruled the World " and "Street Dreams", the latter of which reached number 22 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and number 1 on the Hot Rap Singles chart. It Was Written was certified double platinum. In 1999, Nas released two albums: I Am... and Nastradamus. While I Am reached double platinum status like its preceding album It Was Written and spawned two singles that reached the top ten spots of the Hot Rap Singles chart, "Hate Me Now" and "Nas Is Like", Nastradamus signaled a decrease in quality and critical reception and sold only half as many units. Still, Nastradamus featured two charting singles, "You Owe Me", "Nastradamus" and was certified platinum.

Reveille Park is the eighth solo studio album by American hip hop recording artist SPM. It was released on Dope House Records in 2002 shortly after SPM was incarcerated for statutory rape. Most of the tracks on this album are freestyle rapping. There was a "Chopped & Screwed" version of the album released on August 26, 2002. Coy stated that the entire album was recorded in two days. It was recorded at his house by his long-time friend and record producer Filero, who also added to the production of the album. It was mixed and mastered by James Hoover at Digital Services in Houston, Texas.

SPM Presents The Purity Album is a compilation album by American hip hop recording artist SPM and his labelmates from Dope House Records. It was released on August 15, 2000 and this is the first of three albums to be released with Universal Records. The album debuted at number 57 on the Billboard 200 and number 26 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts. It contains the Tony G-produced hit single "You Know My Name", which peaked at #99 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and #31 on the Hot Rap Songs charts.

The Last Chair Violinist is the tenth solo studio album by American hip hop recording artist SPM, and his third since the start of his 45-year incarceration in 2002. It features guest appearances by Juan Gotti, Baby Bash, Lucky Luciano, Carolyn Rodriguez and others. The CD consists of 17 songs, including the hit single "Mexican Heaven", and also contains a bonus disc of Coy's songs that have been on previous albums. The Last Chair Violinist was released on November 18, 2008 via Dope House Records.
