The Cardigans is a Swedish rock band formed in Jönköping, Sweden, in 1992 by guitarist Peter Svensson, bassist Magnus Sveningsson, drummer Bengt Lagerberg, keyboardist Lars-Olof Johansson and lead singer Nina Persson. Post-hiatus shows since 2012 have been with Oskar Humlebo on guitar instead of Svensson.
Millencolin is a Swedish punk rock band that was formed on 12 October 1992 by Nikola Šarčević, Mathias Färm, and Erik Ohlsson in Örebro, Sweden. In early 1993, drummer Fredrik Larzon joined the band. The name Millencolin is derived from the skateboard trick "melancholy".
Life on a Plate is the second album by the Swedish punk rock band Millencolin, released on 11 October 1995 by Burning Heart Records. It reached No. 4 on the Swedish music charts upon its release and was certified gold in sales in 2002 after selling over 50,000 copies in Sweden. Swedish magazine Slitz also named its cover art, created by band member Erik Ohlsson, as the "Album Cover of the Year" for 1995. Life on a Plate was re-released in the United States the following year by Epitaph Records on 26 March 1996.
Pennybridge Pioneers is the fourth album by Swedish punk rock band Millencolin, released on 22 February 2000 by Epitaph Records. The album was their first album to move away from their ska punk elements in favor of a more alternative rock sound. It was also the band's first album recorded outside their native country of Sweden, and their first to be certified gold in sales after selling over 35,000 copies in Australia.
Kingwood is the sixth album by Swedish punk rock band Millencolin, released on 30 March 2005 in Sweden and 12 April 2005 in North America. The song "Farewell My Hell" originated as an idea for singer Nikola Sarcevic's first solo album, but was used for Kingwood instead. "Softworld" reappeared on the band's next album Life on a Plate, while "Niap" and the live version of "Shake Me" were re-released in 1999 on the compilation album The Melancholy Collection. An accompanying music video for "Da Strike" was also filmed and released. "Da Strike" also appeared in the game ESPN X Games Pro Boarder for the PS1.

An accompanying music video for "Move Your Car" was filmed and included in Millencolin and the Hi-8 Adventures. A Creature from the Black Lagoon pinball game inspired the song's title and the cover art.

The song was written by the band's lead guitarist Noel Gallagher. The Hellacopters are a Swedish garage rock band that was formed in 1994 by Nicke Andersson, Andreas Tyrone "Dregen" Svensson (guitar), Kenny Håkansson (bass) and Robert Eriksson (drums). Andersson had been the drummer for death metal band Entombed and Dregen was taking a break from his full-time band Backyard Babies. Dregen and Eriksson had been roadies for Entombed, while Håkansson was a childhood friend of Andersson's. The Hellacopters were initially conceived as a side project for Andersson and Dregen, but it eventually became the main songwriting and performance vehicle for Andersson. The band, together with The Hives, is considered one of the most important Swedish bands in the garage rock revival and one of the most influential rock bands in Sweden.

The U.S. version of "Lozin' Must" released by Epitaph also includes a remix of "The Story of My Life", a song from the album Life on a Plate which had previously been released as a single. An accompanying music video for "Lozin' Must" was also filmed and released.
