The Sun King (Danish : Solkongen) is a 2005 Danish comedy film directed by Tomas Villum Jensen. [1]
Ole Christensen Rømer was a Danish astronomer who, in 1676, first demonstrated that light travels at a finite speed. Rømer also invented the modern thermometer showing the temperature between two fixed points, namely the points at which water respectively boils and freezes.
Tommy Seebach, born Tommy Seebach Mortensen in Copenhagen, Denmark, was a popular Danish singer, composer, organist, pianist and producer. He is best known as front man of Sir Henry and his Butlers and for numerous contributions to the Danish qualifier for the Eurovision Song Contest, the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, which he won three times. He was the father of songwriter/producer Nicolai Seebach and singer/songwriter/producer Rasmus Seebach.

Hans Hollen Nielsen is a Danish former professional motorcycle speedway rider. He competed in the Speedway World Championships from 1977 to 1999. Nielsen is notable for winning four Speedway World Championship titles. During his career, he won a total of 22 world championships, making him arguably the most successful speedway rider of all time. In 2012, Nielsen was named an FIM Legend for his motorcycling achievements. He later managed the Danish national team.
Sir Henry and his Butlers was a Danish rock-pop group which was formed during the summer of 1964 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The group is mostly known for its two front figures Ole "Sir Henry" Bredahl and especially Tommy Seebach and also the song "Let's Go". Characteristic for the group has been Ole Bredahl as organiser, whereas the rest of the ensemble of Sir Henry and his Butlers have been changed many times since the creation of the group.

The 55th Bodil Awards were held on 3 March 2002 in the Imperial Cinema in Copenhagen, Denmark, honouring the best national and foreign films of 2001. Søren Østergaard and Louise Mieritz hosted the event which was broadcast live on DR2. Ole Christian Madsen's Kira's Reason: A Love Story won the awards for Best Film and Best Actress in a Leading Role. Jens Oking and Susanne Juhasz, both from One-Hand Clapping, won the awards for Best Leading Actor and Best Supporting Actress respectively, and Tommy Kenter in Fukssvansen received the Best Supporting Actor award. The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring was named Best American Film and Swedish Songs from the Second Floor Best Non-American Film.
The 1997 Tulane Green Wave football team was an American football team that represented Tulane University during the 1997 NCAA Division I-A football season as a member of Conference USA. In their first year under head coach Tommy Bowden, the team compiled an overall record of 7–4, with a mark of 5–1 in conference play, placing second in C-USA.

The 1967 Ole Miss Rebels football team represented the University of Mississippi during the 1967 NCAA University Division football season. The Rebels were led by 21st-year head coach Johnny Vaught and played their home games at Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Mississippi and Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium in Jackson. The team competed as members of the Southeastern Conference, finishing in fourth. Ole Miss finished the regular season with a record of 6–3–1 and were invited to their 11th consecutive bowl game, the 1966 Sun Bowl, where they lost to UTEP.
