Tonio K. is an American singer/songwriter who has released eight albums. His songs have been recorded by Al Green, Aaron Neville, Burt Bacharach, Bonnie Raitt, Chicago, Wynonna Judd and Vanessa Williams, among many others. His song "16 Tons of Monkeys," co-written with guitarist Steve Schiff, was featured in the 1992 Academy Award-winning short film Session Man. He worked with Bacharach and hip-hop impresario Dr. Dre on Bacharach's At This Time, which won the Grammy for Best Pop Instrumental Recording in 2005.

Boom Boom Chi Boom Boom is the third studio album by Tom Tom Club, released in 1988. It includes a cover of the Velvet Underground's "Femme Fatale", with David Byrne, Lou Reed, and Jerry Harrison. The track "Suboceana" was released as a single in the UK in late 1988 and received some radio airplay. In the US, a 12-inch single of the song was released, which featured a remix by Marshall Jefferson, and contains the track "Devil, Does Your Dog Bite". That song is a bonus on the Japanese issue of the album that has the original 10 songs. "Challenge of the Love Warriors" is played over the ending credits of Mary Lambert's 1987 mystery thriller Siesta though it is not included on the soundtrack album, also released in 1987, from Miles Davis and Marcus Miller.

Proof Through the Night is a 1983 album by T Bone Burnett, produced by Jeff Eyrich. Proof Through the Night was unavailable on CD for many years. Then some tracks, radically remixed with new vocals if not re-recorded entirely, appeared on the 20/20 career compilation in May 2006. Rhino Handmade issued a CD version of the album on March 27, 2007, which also includes the Trap Door and Beyond the Trap Door EPs. The double CD was issued in a numbered limited edition of 5,000. A cover of the Hank Williams song "Be Careful of Stones that You Throw", recorded during an early session for the album, is also included on the CD.
