Bernard Joseph Butler is an English musician, songwriter and record producer. He is best known as the first guitarist with Suede, until his departure in 1994. He has been hailed by some critics as the greatest guitarist of his generation; BBC journalist Mark Savage called him "one of Britain's most original and influential guitarists". The Cribs are a British indie rock band originally from Wakefield, West Yorkshire, that formed in 2001. The band consists of twins Gary and Ryan Jarman and their younger brother Ross Jarman. The first song, "Don't You Wanna be Relevant?', provides listeners with a new non-LP single, whereas the second, 'Our Bovine Public', opens Men's Needs, Women's Needs, Whatever, the album released in May 2007. Along with "Get Yr Hands Out of My Grave", the Cribs and Will Jackson produced "Don't You Wanna be Relevant?" at Soundworks Studios, Leeds, with "Our Bovine Public" recorded at the Warehouse Studio in Vancouver, British Columbia with Franz Ferdinand vocalist and guitarist Alex Kapranos. Little Scout are an independent band from Brisbane, Australia. They have released two EPs and one album, and have toured with established Australian bands Yves Klein Blue, The Holidays, Holly Throsby, Clare Bowditch and Cloud Control; and international bands Belle and Sebastian, The New Pornographers, Sharon Van Etten, School of Seven Bells and Camera Obscura. 24-7 Rock Star Shit is the seventh studio album by English band The Cribs. It was released in August 2017 under Sonic Blew, a partner label of Sony RED. The album is the band's second album recorded at Electrical Audio with producer Steve Albini following 2012's In the Belly of the Brazen Bull. The album has been described as a back-to-basics return to the band's early punk/grunge sound in contrast to the more pop-driven sound of their previous album For All My Sisters.
Night Network is the eighth studio album by English band The Cribs. It was released on 20 November 2020 via PIAS, under the band's own Sonic Blew imprint. The album is the band's first fully self-produced album. The album was recorded over spring / summer of 2019, at the Foo Fighters' Studio 606 in Los Angeles, California and at Halfling Studios in Portland, OR.
