Season chronology |
The Voice of Vietnam's first season began on 8 July 2012 and ended on 13 January 2013. This series was part of the famous The Voice franchise and was based on the original version, The Voice of Holland . Four original coaches chosen were Đàm Vĩnh Hưng, Thu Minh, Hồ Ngọc Hà and Trần Lập.
This is the only series to feature Hồ Ngọc Hà and Trần Lập as coaches. Phạm Thị Hương Tràm was announced as the winner on January 13, 2013. A lot of contestants in this season then achieved certain successes and notable hit songs. This season proved to be a hit and the show was therefore renewed for a second season in the same year.

Starting from August 19 to September 16 at 9:00 pm – 10:30 pm slot, preceded by Vietnam's Next Top Model.
Coaches begin narrowing down the playing field by training the contestants with the help of "trusted advisors." Each episode features battles consisting of pairings from within each team, and each battle concludes with the respective coach eliminating one of the two contestants. Seven winners for each coach advance to the live shows.

On Sunday, September 9, 2012, a video was uploaded on YouTube by an anonymous account stating that the show's results were fixed. The video was deleted a few hours later; however, it was spread on social networks upon its deletion and caused a media uproar. [1] The video showed email exchanges between who was believed to be The Voice's music director and several contestants and a recording between the director and a producer of the show. [2] An urgent meeting was called at Cát Tiên Sa's headquarter a day later with the coaches and on-going as well as eliminated contestants. Phương Uyên - the show's music director apologized for what had happened but did not comment on the rumor about her close relationship with a contestant of the show, which was pointed out in the said video. [3] H'zina Bya, who was said to quit because of being treated unfairly, explained the reason she quit was because of her health problem and thought that the show didn't fit her. [4]
Vietnam Idol is a Vietnamese reality television competition to find new solo singing talents. It is part of the Idol franchise; it originated from the reality program Pop Idol created by British entertainment executive Simon Fuller. Starting from season eight, the show is produced by Vietnam Television and Cát Tiên Sa.

Nguyễn Thị Hương Thủy, commonly known by her stage name Hương Thủy, is a Vietnamese-language singer from southern Vietnam known for ca dao and cải lương singing. She appears on the long running Vietnamese diaspora variety show Paris by Night, making her debut in Paris By Night 72: Tiếng Hát Từ Nhịp Tim. She also acts in their plays and musicals.
Paris by Night 98: Fly With Us to Las Vegas is a Paris by Night program produced by Thúy Nga that was filmed at the Theatre for the Performing Arts in Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on September 18 and 19, 2009 and had a DVD release on December 10, 2009. The show was hosted by Nguyễn Ngọc Ngạn and Nguyễn Cao Kỳ Duyên.
The third season of Vietnam Idol premiered on VTV6 on August 21, 2010. There are two episodes every Tuesday and Saturday together with a daily five-minute news. This season features a new option for the judges is to "save" a contestant from elimination. This, however, was not used this season.
Paris By Night 100: Ghi Nhớ Một Chặng Đường is a Paris By Night program produced by Thúy Nga Productions that was filmed at the Planet Hollywood Theatre for the Performing Arts in Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino from July 3–4, 2010 and released DVD on October 7, 2010. Vietnam's Next Top Model, Cycle 2 is the second season of Vietnam's Next Top Model to be produced again by Vietnam Television and Multimedia JSC. The show is set to air on VTV3, at every Sunday primetime from September 25, 2011 to January 8, 2012. There are 14 episodes.
Bước nhảy hoàn vũ 2011 is the second season of Bước nhảy hoàn vũ produced by Vietnam Television and Cat Tien Sa Productions based upon the BBC Worldwide's Dancing with the Stars. The show encountered numerous changes, including a proposed reduction of the judging panel to the number of just three judges, but was opposed and remained unchanged at four, the quitting of several cast members prior the launching and the departure of judges either before or during the show, a new co-host, new professionals as well as multiple changes in format written by the copyright holder from Bulgaria. The first show was aired on VTV3 with 10 celebrities. There was not an elimination the first two weeks of competition. The first took place on the third week.
Vietnam's Next Top Model, Cycle 4 is the fourth season of Vietnam's Next Top Model. It was broadcast on VTV in 2013, featuring 18 finalists including 8 male and 10 female contestants.
Vietnam's Next Top Model, Cycle 7 is the seventh season of Vietnam's Next Top Model. It premiered on July 17, 2016 on VTV3. For the fourth time, males were still featured as part of the show. The sixth season of The Voice Kids of Vietnam- Giọng hát Việt nhí began on 8 September 2018 on VTV3. The coaching panel this season consists of six coaches divided into three duo coaches. Veteran coaches Hồ Hoài Anh & Lưu Hương Giang returned to the show after a two-season hiatus, as well as Vũ Cát Tường and Soobin Hoàng Sơn who both returned from the last season. Singer Bảo Anh and music producer Khắc Hưng joined as new coaches. This season marked the first time in any version of The Voice worldwide to have three different duo coaches, and the second time in the whole franchise that the judging panel consists of six coaches, following the Belgian-Flemish Kids version.

Miss Cosmo Vietnam is a national beauty pageant in Vietnam. Until 2022, the pageant used to select the country's representative to the Miss Universe, one of the Big Four major international beauty pageants under the name Miss Universe Vietnam but ultimately changed to the current English name after losing the license in 2023. Along with Miss Vietnam and Miss World Vietnam, Miss Cosmo Vietnam is one of the Big Three national beauty pageants.
