The Wacky Hi-Jinks of Adrenalin O.D. is the debut album by hardcore punk band Adrenalin O.D. It was released in 1984 through the band's own label Buy Our Records.

Contents

The album is celebrated as being one of the most ridiculous albums in punk and one of Adrenalin O.D.'s best efforts. [1] It is known for its speed, sense of humor and sarcastic lyrics that satirize middle-class suburban living. [2]

The album was later reissued in 2008 on Chunksaah Records. [3]

REO Speedwagon is an American rock band from Champaign, Illinois. Formed in 1967, the band cultivated a following during the 1970s and achieved significant commercial success throughout the 1980s. Nomeansno Canadian alternative rock band

Nomeansno was a Canadian punk rock band formed in Victoria, British Columbia and later relocated to Vancouver. They issued 11 albums, including a collaborative album with Jello Biafra, as well as numerous EPs and singles. Critic Martin Popoff described their music as "the mightiest merger between the hateful aggression of punk and the discipline of heavy metal." Nomeansno's distinct hardcore punk sound, complex instrumentation, and dark, "savagely intelligent" lyrics inspired subsequent musicians. They are often considered foundational in the punk jazz and post-hardcore movements, and have been cited as a formative influence on the math rock and emo genres.

Rich Kids

Rich Kids were a short-lived new wave band from London, founded in 1977 by Glen Matlock following his departure from Sex Pistols. The band also included future Ultravox members Midge Ure and Rusty Egan, who both later founded Visage together. They released one album and three singles during their existence, from March 1977 to December 1978.
